February 11, 2010 Written Update

Veer comes downstairs to talk to Vansh and Mai but is stopped by Chanda. Meanwhile, Ichcha tells Vansh that she has to leave and manages to sneak out of there. Later at night, Mai is in her room worried when Taps arrives there. Taps massages her feet and tells her that in a couple of days, she will only be able to come in this house as their bahu Ichcha's guest. Mai tells her not to say such things, and brings up the topic of Vansh. She tells Taps that she's going to tell him everything today, as things have gone too far. Taps tries to stop her in vain.

Mai goes to Vansh, who is busy painting Ichcha in his room. He starts telling her that before Ichcha comes to this house as his wife, he wants to make some changes to the room. She sits him down and asks him what he knows about Ichcha, and if he's even asked her what she wants. She tells him that she wants to tell him something about Ichcha.

In the hallway, Taps is wondering what Mai is telling Vansh. Later, she comes to his room with the excuse of bringing him coffee. She asks why he seems so distraught and what Mai said to him. He goes into flashback thinking how Mai told him that Ichcha's mother is the servant who works in Tapu's house, and that Dadaji wud want him to marry a Thakur's daughter. She tells him to think strongly about this decision. Back in the present, Vansh asks Taps if its true that Ichcha's mom works in her house. Taps tells him yes, but she's always been like a sister to her and its only these people stuck in old times who still don't accept her as family. She tells him to get Mai to ask for Ichcha's hand in marriage tomorrow, and her father surely wont say no. Vansh leaves to talk to Mai with Taps smiling on.

Precap: Mai with Taps comes to Jogi's house. Mai starts telling Jogi abt her son's stubbornness, but Tapu tells her that he already knows all about that. Mai continues on saying that she has come to ask Damini's daughter, Iccha's, hand in marriage for her son.
