Yaar she did not lose. She was just voted out.
Nihira was ( no is ) the best singer of SRGMP. She will always be the winner for us.

mumbai welcomes everyone & love them.. thats why she is different than the rest...
mumbai is one of the most cosmopolitan city in the world.
sometimes people of mumbai have to pay for it.. thats what happened with Nihira..
but every one knows she is the BEST

Nihira didnt have the stage presence like Himani and so lost the votes of the kids/bacha parties. otherwise she is phenomenally far better than himani as a singer. I also think Himani had an unfair advantage in the competion as there was a punjabi song round which is her mother tongue and which suited her best.

In my eyes, Nihira and Hemachandra were the real winners of the show. It doesnt really matter whether they won the show or not, I am sure they will achieve wonderful success in their professional lives.

why did nihira & hemachandra lose?

-no hype(by mentors esp for nihira)
-no love stories/tragedies
-the only thing they said was if u like my singing vote 4 me(and not agar aap chahte hain ki mera pyar kamiyab ho...etc etc!!! 😡 )

by and large hemachandra was the most entertaining and talented of the lot.pity viewers look at south/north/east/west while voting...its raelly sad

among debojit & vinit...vinit sings better but has a very very bad voice(maybe bcoz of his young age,still),and also has a nasty sneeering,proud attitude...
so i prefer debojit over vinit for voice quality and pathos...coz singing can always be improved..

I would say that the premiere reason why nihira lost was that she was in the wrong show. saregamapa challenge started off as a singing competetion but subsequently turned into a reality show where the contestants are not judged on their singing talent but lot of other things- charisma, personality, dancing ability, what they are going through in their lives(sob stories etc.)Clearly Nihira being a simple sweet girl could not score on any of these(I am not saying that she doesn't have a good personality- Ijust adore her)and I would say swananda also lost because of the same reasons.
Secondly, her mentor had no strategy to keep her in the show till the end. ID got so carried away by her talent that he took it for granted that she was going to win. I think he tried to overexploit her talent by giving her the songs that were almost impossible to sing live. for instance- kehna bhi kya the alaap sung by a male couldn't obviously be sung by a female on the same scale(there was a lot of discussion on the show about this, but ID just didn't stop there) He made her sing kajrare.. it is a popular song.But,if you listen to the original the best part of the song is the chorus. without the chorus it is plain bland. I wish ID could give her songs which were more suitable for this kind of competetion where talent alone cannot make u a winner you have to scream for attention.
