This main-tujhse-dukhi-tu-mujhse-dukhi award goes to none other than the original lohaa-man Dr. Shashank Gupta!

Clappie, clappie!👏

The award is being given to Shankypanks for the power-shower with which he bardaasht-karofied the dukhon-ka-mountain that Riddhima threw on him like ping-pong balls - for standing like a mazboot man even though his daughter did paanch hazaar pieces of his loving heart - for bowing out of Riddzie's life with grace , dignity and pride. What a man! Purush ho to aisa ho varna na ho. 😳

The award includes the following gifts :

1. DVDs of Riddhima's bachhpann ke dinn so that his dil becomes less dukhi. 😭

2. Bear hugs from Atul, Naina, Sid, Yuvi , Paddy aunty and Dr. Keerti so that he knows that he is a lovable man and the ones who know and understand him guard him with their lives. 😊

3. A holiday with Paddy and Anjie so that his broken parental heart gets bandaged.

4. Thank you notes from the whole Sanjivani staff telling him why he is a one man army and why everybody sees the goodness and kindness behind his lohaa heart. 😳

Isn't it weird no matter how much parents do for us, in life there will ALWAYS come a time when there is something that we want they can't give,

n our reactions r such, it is easy for us to say at that time, 'wat have u ever done for us'??????

@Sofna. Yes. It was a crushing scene indeed. And so true to real life. Our parents are the reason we exist - they are the ones who make us what we become - they cocoon us throughout their lives even when we ourselves become mums and dads. But what do children do?

When we are small, we walk over our parents' feet and they laugh. When we grow up , we walk all over their hearts and they cry.

i am happy shanky didn't let the adoption issue take the better of him instead he tried his best to explain his insane daughter that her love is no more love but an obsession!!! Glad he didn't bother to stop her

True.

I think both Shankypanks and Paddy have understood that Riddhima has gone too far - she is in a sensitive mental state - screaming at her , reasoning with her is only going to worsen the situation. I am glad that they both bowed out of Riddzie's life graciously.

I am seriously proud of the Gupta couple, today. Children need to be told that no matter how much parents love them, they can put full stops as well when things go out of hand.

that's so true nitzy!!! we never appreciate them...what they do for us...they don't have to do it...they choose to do it! I know there are some parents who kill their kids desire for their own good...but most of our parents would do anything and everything for us. They are the real reason why we are in this world and how we live in this world.

Awesome post Poco 🤗 Felt for Shanky today. He's been a great doctor and a wonderful father.

It's totally reflects that when we want something and our parents can't give it to us, we behave this way, forgetting all the previous things they have done for us.. It's such a pity we behave this way for the people who have laid everything out for us.

Yeah Suma,

There are so many times we answer them back - we are rude to them just because we are in a bad mood - never ask the reason behind their 'NO' in a respectful way - seldom do we tell them how much we love them - how many times have we hugged our parents in the past week?

Small things but they make or break our parents and we will never know what we make them feel like until we have kids of our own.
