And from this situation in DMG , i have tried to highlight the fickleness and shortcomings of human nature. I seem to remember, a sanctimonious Ridhima accused Armaan of getting bhang for Holi, getting Armaan into trouble, and not one of his so-called friends stood up for him. No one bothered to check whether he had or had not been responsible and declared him the culprit. And I can remember other occasions when his so-called-friends happily ditched him, only to re-unite as one happy family, ugh!👏......Bingo! That is one thing I have noticed right from Armaan to Sid. I will party with you, I will laugh with you , but when you land in deep shit , I will WAIT for you to come out of it and AAL IZZ WELL then.... damn! Does one really need that kind of seasonal friends?

So poor Sid should have been prepared for this! Yes, Yuvi-Naina-JP have history on their side in terms of the photographs incident, but for precisely that reason they should have stopped and questioned Ridhima's All India radio broadcast. The last time Ridhima cried 'wolf" over the snaps, didn't it turn out to be a half baked truth? Shouldn't they, therefore, stop to hear Sid's version of the story, esp Naina for whom Sid has always been there emotionally? Ironically, the only man who is even willing to give Sid a hearing is an outsider ' Jiggy - or perhaps that is precisely the reason why, because he's not been inflicted by a malaise that's Sanjeevani!......Well-said. But Sid should have seen it coming. They have behaved like this before. Or maybe he thought Yuvi would understand because it's Yuvi who took Sid back in the fold.His friends have fallen prey to suspicion , fine.... but yes, they have failed him.

The gang disappointed me today. I remember telling you during the photo fiasco to give them a chance as they were shocked at Sid's behaviour. I wont say that to you today. Yuvi did the most. He knows he is not made of pure gold. He should have atleast heard him out. I guess the immorality of the alleged act made them behave that way. Tell me that. .... I was only disappointed in Yuvster the most because he was the only one I expected to support Sid - even if not that , at least calmly ask him what happened. At least listen to him. Jiggy came as a fleeting pleasant surprise though.

But one thing in their defense. The memory of the photo fiaso is still fresh in their minds. And then Sid left leaving behind a letter. No information given on where he is going and why. None of them know the changed equation between Sid and Ridz. The last they knew, Sid hated Ridz. So he followed her and comitted the unthinkable act as a revenge. Though it doesnt give them a right to jump to conclusions. They should have questioned him, heard him out before reacting the way they did.That is my only issue. Whatever the hatred between Sid-Riddz, you have known Sid for so long , you know what kind of a man he is. If nothing else, give him benefit of doubt , give him a chance to explain himself. Don't execute him like that. It is criminal, seriously.

Isnt that how things happen? A woman comes and cries that she is raped and everybody sympathises with her. The man is made into a monster and nobody even bothers to question his intention, the circumstances etc. And a wonderful time for Atul to go away!!..... Atul has been sent away so that we can get to see more of Riddhima's accusation hysteria , both on Shanky and Sid. He will come back at the most critical moment. I hope so, at least. And yeah , it is easy to term a man a monster only because this gender has that impression in general.

Sid - my heart goes out to him. From the minute Tam left and Ridz entered - his life has been a roller coaster ride. He tries to help and everything backfires. God save him.

Ridz - I dont want to talk about her at all. The CVs have decided to butcher her character to pieces. Whats with all the crying and accusations? Somebody please operate on her brain fast.🤣

Yes, everything you wrote about friends is so true. This is a fictional story and with a small apology, a smile and a hug all of them will be back to being friends. But in real life, such an act from so-called friends leaves a scar on your heart. I guess it is human nature to react to such situations by siding with the world. Otherwise the whole world might think that you are equally bad. In their heart of hearts they know that their friend might be innocent, but just to show off to the world that they are staunch followers of morality, they behave otherwise.👏

One kind gesture, one hug, one word of understanding is what we expect from our friends in such situations. Sid is in a situation where he is broken. He needs understanding from his friends. Its ok even if they dont accept him. But at least hear him out. They disappointed.

When Atul comes back and tells the truth, I want Ridz to fall at sid's feet and ask for forgiveness. I want her to suffer as much as he is suffering and I am a staunch follower of non-voilence in every form. I want the gang to beg for his forgiveness and I want Sid to just give two hoots to all these people and walk away from there. Come to me baby, I am here for you. 😆😆......I guess we can only dream. Knowing Sid, he will instantly go into a group hug when they come running back to him. Ugh!

In our socity, crime against women gererally brings two extreme reactions,

one is the pathetic "it must ve been the girls fault... she must ve encourages this.. she asked for this...bla bla.." and believe me i ve personally heard ppl say this a crime like rape ir eve-teasing.

the other reaction was what we experienced in DMG yesterday... and it is true, when such a grave crime is the issue, ppl loose their sense of justice and reason(apart from Dr. Kreeti).

But all said and done... couldnt help feeling miserable for Sid... as you said he was all alone... no family, no friend, absolutely no one...

again it makes me think... yes a girls honor is very important... but what about a guy's respect? his entire social circle thinks he is a rapist.

Is there anything ridz or his friends or Dr.shashank do to bring back his belief in friendship and his faith in helping others ?

I am sorry, Esha if whatever I have written hurt you in any way. We are a weird emotional species - human beings. These things happen - people hit us when we least expect them to and often the betrayal and abandonment come from the ones we laid our lives on.

Don't take it to heart. Life is only once and sometimes loving oneself is enough. Just about enough.
