How can Vidya not own a microwave?

With two leaps this show is supposed to be at least 18 years ahead of where it started and Vidya doesn't even own a microwave? For heaven's sake almost every lower to middle class family in India has a microwave, especially if this is supposed to be the future and microwaves would be obsolete by that time anyway!

Also, who makes home made pizza in a microwave anyway? You're supposed to make it in a toaster oven or conventional oven!

This is why I hate leaps on tv serials!

well in Indian serial every leap is to be taken as 'the present'.

By the way, no idea who gave you the impression that every 'lower to middle class' family owns a microwave now. They don't. And affordability is not the main reason but it is a waste for most Indians as they are comfortable with the traditional way of cooking.

ya i agree with you, leap means only the characters grow everything else stays the same😆

ya u r rite, microwave is still a luxury in india, it's not common at all

Not everyone owns a microwave because some people can afford it. Like vid she did not have enough money to buy the microwave for antara. remember she was not making much money.
