Hey guys this was a general wondering rather than a question of debate-
But should contestants from outside India be taken on dance india dance??
Definitely the show would get international recognition but is it fair? coz generally their training is far superior plus they have so many shows there which they can participate in- which we indians cant eg. SYTYCD
So do u think they are takin place of wher an indian resident participant could have been on the show>
Wat do you all think????!!!!!!

i think its fair for nri's to be taken as contestants
they are still indian and have every right to participate in an indian dance show
and just because they are nri's doesnt mean that thier training is superior for example tashu she is an nri but i think other female contestants are doing better than she is
so ye definately it is fair
whats the point if all indians around the world cant participate in a dance show meant for indians

Well, almost all the 'dancing' stars of bollywood seem to be going abroad to perform in shows to make/make-up for moolah.
I have my doubts on the future of a mere dancing star in the entertainment industry, though they earn pretty good performing at shows abroad😊
Why then can't an NRI particpate in an Indian Dance show?😃

I feel bad writing this post but I don't think they should.
If a person living in India came to perform in the UK then they would almost instantly be rejected but India welcomes everyone. Please don't get me wrong, but these NRI's are now citizens of other countries and not India (although i'm sure a lot are still Indian at heart).
Each country has their own set of talent/reality shows so they still have opportunities. If a Michael Jackson fusion Bhangra act performed by an Indian and a Pakistani can come as runners up on one of the most popular talent shows in Britain, then it is not like there is a lack of opportunity for NRI's to showcase their talent.
I have a feeling about something though. Due to the fact that Tashu isn't an Indian citizen, I have a feeling she will not win DID. I'm sorry if I sound harsh but I think t's true because people may start complaining and all so my guess is that Zee will play it safe. :S
