in the history of television, if one were to observe closely, none of the really liked jodi's have ever got the kinda closing that one would expect... ( ofcourse there are exceptions at times....) .. this has either been cos the actors have not been able to give time and have moved on, or the creative team doesnt know what else to do with the story...
taking a trip down the memory lane... there was kasauti zinadgi kay - where Anurag and Prerna chemistry was much talked about.... n then anurag left leaving the story high and dry... they did try to bring back another anurag in the form of a star like hiten but it just didnt work....
another was kahin toh hoga where again, the edginess and undying love that sujal had for kashish was just like the one armaan had for Riddhima, even my mom used to love their pairing so much... we all know what happened,
more recently... kumkum, that ruled our hearts for many years.... had to see a bad phase, when there was no hussain for almost 3 months on the scene and they had to make do with his body double, if there was a jodi i have loved right from my school days, it has been theirs... but their story, their chemistry took a toss...
why go that far... what happened to the original sanjeevani???? the rahul and juhi chemistry, the pain in love, was so beautifully portrayed though, rahul was married off to juhi- once they got married, the essence of the love story was lost...
DMG as i see, also is following their lines... it looks as though the creative team, the production house and everyone else on board, has served their due... they are now tired, and they lack the zeal to put forth what was once, a show that was different from the rest...
i have tried to be as fair as possible, in trying to accept the story line, and even though, i would have prefered an AR pairing, did try to think of all the majboori's that they must have had to have this story...
for now i think, boredom has set in, along with defiance on the part of the team to just put forth a story that might run as long as it has... needless to say ... no one cares anymore...!!!!
