Something I love about this show is how each character has their own little storyline cooking in each episode. It's almost like a partial sitcom with continuity. Be it Rohan's toothache, Huzeifa's cost-cutting ideas, Ruchika and the iPod or Isha and Naina, all characters get their due in each episode, along with the customary case. And each storyline almost always has an underlying message.
Agree on the note that the episode started off very slowly, but there was an unconscious point where it turned around, and became another great one. I'll only be repeating what everyone has already said, but the subtlety and soft wisdom which catches you by surprise is amazingly well done.
There may not be leaps and bounds of progress in each episode, but each character develops a little more in every episode. Again, it's so subtle, like Rohan and Isha's relationship, that you really have to see it to see it, but it's there (:
And to round it off, Kavi Shastri gets some ace dialogues :P A nod to the writer(s), for not only that, but the whole understated-yet-very-much-appreciated vibe of the show.
