Remember that day?
what was so special on that particular date? What happened?
O yeah! An awesome new show called Love ne mila di jodi premiered!
Some of us got to watch it live on TV....but some like myself got to see it on YT caz that's where I came across this show's promo!
Anyhow, I'm not here to articulate who saw it where......I'm here to speak my mind out .....tell my story...my Journey about this show...yeah a fictional show....but still, somewhere I feel, that after almost 7 months of following this show and it's characters, that I was a part of their journey as well.
So this is the beginning of my journey with Love ne mila di jodi ---
I first came across a mere promo of the show on YT while searching for some Bollywood movie song or promo...i mistakenly clicked on one of those "related" videos thingie and it took me to this show's promo!
I was about to close it down when the title track started playing! and I was in awe! Wowie! what a wonderful wonderful tune.......then i glanced at the faces that were popping up on my screen......I was like they are some good looking people!
Then I googled Love ne mila di jodi...and I found IF and I also found the video of the pilot episode!
I watched it ....not so impressed at the first episode that much......then I came across the second episode.....Ok-ish.....then came that one episode ---Damini's engagement and Chalka re dance sequence! I totally loved it! I loved how beautifully it was etched in to the storyline...the wonderful editing of the girls's parts and their future lovers aka the Saxena brothers who were having a gala time in the rain!
Then I started checking YT each day for the latest episodes.......i was loving each day by day!
The best one being the first Prida meeting--face to face--- in the stable! Prithvi in white and Damini in purple! that was it! that hooked me to Prida! An arrogant feministic woman head to head with an MCP level headed man! that was Sizzling! that was the the BEST! The twist...the catch and the fall on the hay stack......aaaayyyy each one of them looking in to other's eyes and the tension and the connection between them! Yup..nothing...i mean NO one can ever redo that part and create as much MAGIC and SPARK that GK and CS did! Then we saw their after party rain scene...the one in which they were both in black.....looking mindblowingly gorgeous! Loved it! that scene will always be the BEST First love scene between Prida ever! I can go on and on and on about Prida....pointing their each scene...but i want to focus on the beginning right now, so I will leave it there for today.
Coming to the middle brother and sister---Sameer "nautanki" Saxena-----he was a delight to watch! He was the happy bunny...the carefree guy with big dreams....aren't we all somewhat like so in certain times of our lives?! Avni Gujral---the sweetest most humble girl...a flower...who just needed the right amount of "Sameer Saxena" sunlight to blossom to it's fullest! Their first meeting...the one where Sameer calls Avni "gardener" and Avni says to him "why are you wearing shades at night" when Sameer said "why are you watering plants at night" that was hilariously adorable! Loved Sameer "nautanki" Saxena's naughty beats music..you know the "1..2..3... o yeah" or something!
Then, we came across the youngest Kiddos! Roshni.....or Rosh ---my bestie as I call her! she was, is and will always remain the most adorable character ever---the Sunshine of the show! Varun--well the genius, introspective lil brother of Prithvi and Sameer....well he was good.....good with Roshni! together, Roshni and Varun gave us a couple who always brought smiles on our faces when they came on screen....they were the "pull their cheeks" type sweet lil kittens!
Ela Gujral---- The moment I saw her come on screen, i had this feeling that she could never be the suspect! there's no way! I mean look at the woman! Every gesture, every expression, every word from her mouth spoke volumes that she was the most lovable mother ever! her elegance and sophistication..be it her body language, her words, her Bun (lol) or her attire....was clearly felt! Ela Gujral was, is and will always remain the most beloved mother character I have ever come across in a show!
Coming to the antagonist of the show--Inder...Inderetta! Who can ever forget him?! Wasn't he the best antagonist ever or what?! yeah ....heck yeah! Trust me when i say that this show would not have been as fun to watch if Inder wasn't the antagonist! He was incomparable! he was Ginormous-ly amazing! lol
He brought a new vibe to villainhood! he made us all Laugh while being the antagonist! now who doesn't like to have a laugh? I believe that a villain who makes us laugh like Inder is far more fun to watch than an antagonist who creeps you out by his nastiness...you know who.
So yeah....Inder was, is and will always remain the best antagonist of the show...ever!
Anyhow...it seems that i would have already bored you all out of your minds till here.......
