I think Bindi is more fashionable than suhaag ki nishaani these days...

Someone who should know told me it's the nose-stud (nose-ring?) that's the *traditional* suhaag ki nishaani among the Gujaratis.

U may b ryt Leela.But nosestud is smthin wich Gujarati girl wear since dey r small kids.So its smtyn I've seen both unmarried girls & married women wear.Whereas in North, wer I belong,der r certain things lyk bichiyan,chooda(red bangles),wich unmarried girls r not allowed 2 wear.Its nt da same case in Gujarat,in case of nose-ring.
