Your next film, Agent Vinod has been put on a backburner due to film's budget. What is the status of the movie as of now?
Kareena Kapoor could not sign another film with Aamir Khan because of Agent Vinod.
My movie being held up does not bother me. Whoever we work with, no matter how close we are to them, we make a professional commitment and we will work around all actor's dates that they can give us. Agent Vinod is slated to start in April and I am very excited about the entire project. The movie will be shot in Europe and Delhi and some parts of Morocco.

When and how did you start playing with Parikrama?
It happened by chance. The first concert was in Delhi, and we were endorsing an alcoholic beverage at that time. After that I met Subir Malik of Parikrama, and his family, and spotted his young daughter grooving to music. I had never met them before, it's just music that has brought us together.

Would there be another movie on the lines of Dil Chahta Hai?
We would like to make all kinds of movies. The same kind of movies that I like to act in. We are starting with Agent Vinod and Race 2. The cast for Race 2 is yet to be finalised. I am looking forward to doing a romantic comedy with Kunal Kohli. It would be a little different from Hum Tum. We are in still discussion stage.

What changes has Kareena bought to your life both professionally and personally?
I think when you are in love and you are happy, you tend to work well and it's nice to be happy and smiling. I think that's the greatest thing one would want.

You were recently felicitated with Padma Shri for your outstanding performance so far in Hindi cinema. Has life come full circle?
I certainly hope there is more to come (giggles). I would now aim for the National Award if I could. Omkara has been my best role and film till date. Not to forget Hum Tum, there was something special in that movie for me. It combined, mirth, humour, love and a lot of other emotions and feelings, which is so much a part of one's daily life. Ek Haseena Thi was a very different kind of movie that I did.

Winning the Padma Shree also got you into controversies. Shiv Sena also targeted you in this regard.
It's not something that I have really asked for; it been government's decision and very kind of them to choose me. I do feel I am a little young to get it. It's a democratic country, and I am sure there are many more deserving people out there. All I can say is I will do my best to live up and work up to it. I can't stop people from talking.

Which movie of yours would you cite as being accountable for justifying this award? Any director or person in particular you would want to thank?
There are so many, it's hard to make a decision. I can't list out a particular name. Love Aaj Kal, Omkara and many other movies are my favourites.

Is there any particular actress apart from Kareena, you would like to do a dream project with?
Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra to name a few. I think Vidya Balan is an excellent actress
beyond par. She has been receiving a lot of acclaim for her work. 😊

If you were to adopt two qualities from each of your parents, what would those be?
Patience and diligence ' one quality from each of them.

If not movies, is there any other thing that you would love to pursue?
No, not really. I would not want to do anything apart from movies. This is what I always wanted to do and this is what I will always do.

Saif wants to work with Priyanka, this is a call for a war, I read somewhere that Kareena doesn't stand Priyanka, now she would think that she will steal Saif, as she thought of Amrita Rao with Shahid and then Priyanka with Shahid as well...........

Kareena, u should learn, love is not only a good look or game, love is understanding and trust..........

Where did you read tht? I'm sure Kareena has nothing against PC . We've seen them interacting here and there at events.

That even sounds funny. I hardly doubt she'll give out that advice that also to Shahid. They both dont even acknowledge each others presence anymore. (KK & Shahid)
