This probably doesn't have to do anything with the topic but I heart old Bollywood films, especially from 70's and 80's. Usually during the summer, I catch up on them as they are shown during the day time on the channels. The songs...the story...the actors...kuch toh baat thi. I want summer now.

There are lots of them.

From the recent ones Ahista Ahista, Socha Na Tha, Manorama Six Feet Under, Ek Chaalis ki Last Local (yep loads of Abhay Deol flicks).

Mithya - which I think is one of the best films of the decade - It is sort of an existential twist on Don. Ranvir Shorey was brilliant in the film, as was Vinay Pathak.

Gulaal which is worth a watch just for Abhimanyu Singh's captivating performance, Being Cyrus, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Rocket Singh - SOTY (saw it recently and I loved it), Black Friday, Tahaan (saw this one recently too - and I was just floored, except I really wish they had picked someone other than Rahul Bose for his role - no where for a second did he look convincing as a Kashmiri man especially since most of his scenes were wtith Anupam Kher).

Some older ones I like are Maachis, Lamhe, Katha, Chashm-e-Baddoor, Angoor, Sparsh. My all time favourite film is probably Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron which has quite a huge cult following.

I loved, loved Koshish-by far the best movie I ever seen on those with disabilities. This movie was far ahead of it's time, and both excelled in their roles.
I miss Sanjeev Kumar a lot; I've always loved his movies. From Naukar to Koshish, I have always been his fan.
I just recently saw Mausam again, and loved it all over again.
I miss the old days......
