Check the updated IF Homepage. (Feedback plz)

Thank you all for giving your feedback on the navigation changes and helping us our in doing the Page Speed test.

And we have just roll out the new changes on the homepage. Please note this change is just on the homepage at the moment as so that we can test the performance and also take further feedback from our members.

Over the weekend we are planning to update the whole site with the new change.




a) The navigation icons were not that attractive so we made new ones.

b) We even added the missing My Posts and now it also shows me my number of Posts.

c) The page has been further optimized to load faster and for better indexing by the search engines.

Internally we have tested the same on all the major Browsers in different versions and all have shown signicant improvement in page download time and rendering.

On doing a basic test we found the following statistics :

So there is a saving of 4.2 Seconds and also saving around 79 HTTP calls and 240kb file size of valuable bandwidth.
