I strongly feel that he does not love Archana any more .
When he went to jail , his love for her pretty much died . He does have a strong guilt feel towards his family and he wants to see them happy at any cost . Archana's life , her tears and her love does not mean that much to him now .
Even though he knows how desperately in love she is with him , he doesn't care . Her love is more of a burdan than a blessing .
Before he would be so happy to see a loving gesture from her , now it is more of , ' oh God, what do I do now ' .
The only thing that he is focussed on is Shravani . She too is not a bad girl and he does believe that things will get better when he marries her so he is single mindedly pursuing this goal .
As he does not feel strongly towards Archana, and as he himself wants to move on in life with another woman, he obviously does not wants to give false hopes to this love struck woman .
The good person in him does sometimes wants to be fair and kind but then he knows that his acts of kindness and humanity can be mistaken as acts of love .
So maybe it is better that he did not help Archana at all and does not interfere in her family matters .
What he is doing wrong is completely ignoring a very very important fact .
Archana is not some neighbourhood girl who fancies him . She is actually his legally wedded wife and he cannot just shrug her off as she is some dandruff on his shoulders .
Whether he likes it or not , she is his responsibility and even if he does not love her , he has to take care of the fact that she should have a respectable life after him .
His mother is trying her best to drive Archana to a point f suicide and unknowingly he is helping her the most to achieve that goal .
If he is a fair and a good human being then he would do justice to Archana , even if he doesn't love her then also he will try her from going mentally insane . That is the least he can do .
This saturday he will fill the maang of another woman , on his mother's insistance , right there in front of his wife .
That would be an all time low for Manav . Forget about someone who loved her , even if he didn't love Archana ever he should not do this .
He is driving this girl to the point of insanity . He can see what she has been going through for the past few days .
It is totally toally unfair and unjustified the way he is behaving with her .
