International Holocaust Remembrance Day

On 27 January is the Day of Remembrance, Day of Remembrance for Victims of Nazism, fascism, the Holocaust and in honor of those who risked their lives to have protected the persecuted. "To remember and for not forgot" is a sacred duty which no one can and must be destroyed. "To remember and for not forgot" that in the death camps were killed Jews, Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, Gypsies and dissidents, men, women and children who had no guilt that it exists.
The International Holocaust Remembrance Day is a celebration not only of past heroism but also a reminder of the terrible price of war.

During World War II, the Holocaust claimed the lives of over 6 million Jews and countless others in what was the most systematic massacre of entire populations in history. Today, the International Holocaust Remembrance Day celebrates the efforts of the many unsung heroes and nameless victims who became a part of the world-changing event.

First-hand accounts of men like Harry Greenbaum, survivor of three different camps, and Emmanuel Grossman, one of the first US soldiers to liberate the concentration camps, is very vital. Their stories provide the present generation of the horrors of war and how mistaken ideology could lead to meaningless slaughter.

With the celebration of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, people throughout the world recall both the heroism and the tremendous suffering that innocent people went through at the hands of other human beings.

It is a hard-earned lesson for present and future generations to learn from.

yeah Prabz and Anjali:
me too when in class we talk about this I feel very bad for them.
We must be considered fortunate to be born in this era where the gas chamber that has killed many people no longer exists.
