Fact or Illusion - Abhay Vakil

HE'S an actor, dance instructor, model and magician all rolled into one. A product of Roshan Taneja's acting school, ABHAY A VAKIL has appeared in a couple of teleserials and music videos, apart from the odd serving stint as model in campaigns such as Larsen & Toubro, US Vitamins, Kwality Ice Cream, Bagpiper and Hindustan Ciba Geigy.

A lesser known fact about Vakil is that he is also a professional magician. Having done a diploma course in magic from the Indo-American Society, Vakil launched The Ultimate, a dance troupe with the USP of fusing dance with illusion — he even performs magic on invitation at parties and on TV. For a guy with so many accomplishments, Vakil prefers to stay focussed on a career in acting. And that, he insists, is no illusion.
