Nooo ! It's Ron and Hermione!
HP forum is flooded with R/Hr shippers, every one here is an R/H shipper at heart, whether you wanna admit or not, you know you're a Heron inside:) The reasons are self-explanatory - that is IF you've read the books.🤣

YEAH babyyyy. Its Ron/Hermione all the way 🤣🤣 Everyone (except those bad bad Dis-Harmony-ous shippers) is a R/Hr fan at heart :P

But James/Lily or LiMes (as the new name goes) comes a very very very close second! 😳

I sincerely have no idea if you meant it as a friendly jibe at people who don't support the RHr relationship or whether you are actually serious. However, IF you are in fact serious like a lot of RHr supporters usually are when they make the "go back and re-read" comment, I think your attitude is quite unpleasant. The concept of supporting a relationship is a matter of preference rather than what is right or wrong. The whole you-must-not-have-read-the-books-if-you-don't-agree-with-"canon" is the most juvenile and puerile route one can possible take because any shipper (Draco/Pansy, Ron/Luna, Hermione/Pansy) has obviously read the books, know how they end and have made the conscious decision to support a relationship of their preference. It doesn't mean that they haven't read the books if they don't happen to support the main pairings. For one, the obsession with canon limits people's interpretations from what I've seen. The 'you mustn't have read the books if you don't support what is canon' approach shows an intolerant attitude towards opposing opinions.

Anyhow, sorry for being persnickety but that whole part about teaching others how to interpret a book, or telling them what to interpret is a pet peeve of mine. I can proudly say that I am definitely NOT a "Heron" inside or anywhere else. I don't think they'd be compatible and the epilogue evinces why they are uncompatible: their relationship dynamics haven't matured from the teenage phase. Ron lies behind Hermione's back, pretending to be in line with her ideals while lying through his lying little teeth to her. He assumes she doesn't need to know that he broke the law and potentially abused a muggle's rights to personal integrity. Hermione STILL undermines Ron's capabality (and I'm hard pressed to criticize her for it when her underestimation proves to be absolutely correct). She still nags him about his flaws that she knows he'll never change, even for her sake. Her undermining him, and him lying to her show that they have little respect for each other and still treat each other the same as they did at Hogwarts - it echoes OOTP with how seriously Hermione took prefect duties and how Ron abused his power as a prefect to steal toys from young kids. Lots of fighting =/= love.
The one canon pairing I understand and like is Lucius-Narcissa. From what is shown in the series, I can see them being well-suited. We are shown so little of them that it intrigues me. I see their relationship 3 ways: a) arranged marriage that transceded into love over time or b) arranged marriage that is based on mutual respect and maturity or c) falling in love when they went to Hogwarts. Although the last option is overly romantic for my liking, I think it's plausible given that I see them as a family who just happens to support LV instead of DD. In fanon, it's common to see Lucius abuse Narcissa and I really don't see that happening, ever. Not because of some chlidish romantic hope I harbor but because he's supposed to be aristocratic and she comes from one of the best bloodlines in the entire Wizarding World - she wouldn't tolerate abuse from her husband. I think they are one of the few couples in HP to have a less than dysfunctional relation.
