Hey guys!
First and foremost, Happy New Year to all of you and your family!
It's hardly been a fortnight since 2010 began but we hope it started with a bang and excitement, not a headache and hangovers!
Like every New Year, this year too we have our own set of resolutions, one of which is to keep in touch with all our friends, within the industry and otherwise.
Guys, we firmly believe that friendship is one of the most special and purest bonds one can ever possess! It gets hard to catch up often since life is so fast-paced now but we hope to keep up to our resolution. Having such friends is not easy. Because we have been blessed with them and are really thankful to be so!
And since we share almost everything with you guys through our blog, we would like to introduce to you all our friends dear to us. The following are a few to mention. We will be back soon to update you on the rest of our close buddies
Shakti & Sai
Tina: Shakti is the only person in the industry who had met and seen me, before Hussain and then our affair was exposed by the media, 6-7 years later. We would often chill and meet up at his house, since going anywhere in public places would be a torture with the media covering your every footstep! I've known him since Hussain started with 'Kyunki...'. I've known Sai since Shakti's House Warming party. At that time, Sai and Shakti were only co-stars and Shakti was dating someone else. During the party is when I saw her sitting and for some vague reason I looked at her and told Hussain, "Shakti must get married to this girl." So later when marriage was on the cards, I was overjoyed for them and proud of my prediction Sai and I are very very close now. Her mom is like a mother to Hussain and me. So it's very family-like and special with them.
Hussain: Ya it was through 'Kyunki..' that most of us came into the limelight and I've been close friends with Shakti ever since. The bond has grown through the years and he is one of my closest buddies in the industry. The intensity is more so because our friendship has come a long way, from our bike days, to cars and now our own house. It's like 'rags to riches' kind of transition we have both faced and seen each other grow through it. From vada pavs and burgers to luxurious hotels. We have both seen and lived it all! Thus, our bond has a lot of mutual understanding, sharing and trust. Shakti and I have also been very alike, mentally. Our wavelengths have more or less always matched. He was then the one and only person, whom I could share my thoughts with and Tina too has been very comfortable around him from the very beginning. Once Sai entered Shakti's life, things changed like they always do but for the better. Now the bond is better! Earlier we were both bachelors, loafing around and now being married has only deepened the bond and equation. Often we make plans with them for holidays and dinners. They live close by to us and are very reliable. Tomorrow if we need help for whatsoever reason, I'm sure they would go out of their way however they can for us.
