Part 1
The scene starts w/ Sushma dousing herself in kerosine, and Brij getting startled by this. He then rushes to Sushma, starts struggling w/ her while she keeps screaming for help. He then tells her that if she wanted to burn herself, he'd help her, while she continues screaming. He then slaps her and pours even more kerosine on her, and right at that moment, the door breaks open and cops rush in. Deepu too is w/ them, and comforts her, while the cops see the kerosine container on the ground. Brij is told that he's under arrest, and protests that she was trying to frame him. He threatens not to leave Sushma alone and to kill her, and the inspector nails him even further on making such threats right in front of the cops. He asks Deepu & Sushma to come to the police station to file their report.
The police ask the other rubber-neckers to disperse, since their job is done, but one of them draws his attention to the jewelry on the bed. He takes it as evidence. At the station, CM testifies that that jewelry is that of her bahu, which she had gifted her after marriage. The police tell her that they recovered it where Brij was trying to burn his wife. Brij, who is in the cell, gets there and continues protesting that he was not trying to burn her, and that she was trying to frame him. The inspector tells him to shut up. CM tells the inspector that she has no dog in the dispute b/w these people, and that she just wanted to know how this jewelry got to where it got. The inspector tells her that this was found in Brij's possession, and that he was pressurizing his wife to get him money, and that this time, this was planted by the police in his possession as part of a sting operation and he was caught red handed. He tells her that Sushma borrowed it from her bahu in order to trap Brij. The cop tells CM that their suspicions were even exceeded, when they found that Brij was apparently trying to escape w/ all that jewelry. Brij protests that that was not true, but the cop tells him to shut up. 🥳🥳🥳 CM gets up and glares @ Deepu & Sushma, and tells them that b'cos of them, she had to come to the police station, and how dare they use Vashisth jewelry w/o permission? Brij tells them not to think that they have won, and that he'd avenge himself on their whole family. Deepu & Sushma leave.
Back in the Sharma house, Deepu & Sushma enter, & Padma asks them what have they been up to, and why is Sushma reeking of kerosine? Everyone is curious, and Sushma tells them that they had gone to file a report against Brij. Jyoti goes up to her, and she tells her that Deepu and she had Brij arrested. On being asked, Deepu tells them that he & Sushma had made a plan that they should have Brij caught in the act red-handed, so that he couldn't go anywhere. First they went to Sudha for the jewelry, since they needed something to have him caught red handed. After that, they went to the police, who offered all assistance in doing a sting operation. Then Sushma called Brij according to that plan, and put up a complete charade on how she wanted to re-unite w/ him. Then Brij took Sudha's jewelry, and while he was at it, Sushma did her final act by dousing herself in kerosine, and started screaming. There was no reason to fear, since Deepu & the cops were outside waiting for her screams, and then they stormed the place, and caught Brij red-handed. He said that everything went according to plan, but Sudha's jewelry... Jyoti asks what happened to it, and Sushma tells her that the cops noticed it, and called CM in order to return it. Jyoti is exasperated to hear that. Sushma is scared of what might happen to Sudha as a result.
Jyoti tells them that they did wrong - Sushma is pregnant, so she had no business running around. Sudha's problems are yet another, but where was the need to lie in order to nail Brij? Sushma says that it was necessary, since he ruined both their lives, and yet was a free man, and there was no evidence against him. Had they not stopped him, he'd have caused them even more problems. KK says that they should have told them what they were really up to. Sushma asks him whether they'd have let them go ahead had they told them? KK calls her and hugs her, and praises her for her boldness. However, he asks her not to do that again.
At the Vashisth mansion, CM is standing alone as Sudha arrives. She asks CM why she was called, and CM notices her necklace, and tells her that such light jewelry doesn't befit a Vashisth bahu. She asks Sudha to wear the Lucknowi set that she gave her. Sudha looks worrried, and CM asks her whether she lost it or gave it to someone?
Part 2
On being asked, Sudha tells her that she lent it to Sushma (congratulations to her for being truthful - at least, CM won't be able to hold that against her👏👏👏). She tells CM that in order to nail Brij into getting caught red handed, they knew that he'd be attracted to the jewelry. She tells her that once Brij was caught, she'd be returned all the jewelry. CM demands to know whether she asked anybody's permission? Today, their family name was dragged uptil the police station, due to her. She is too worried about her maayka? She offers to send her back there. Sudha looks worried, as CM offers her to join her 2 sisters. Sudha starts crying and CM asks her if she's capable of anything other than crying? Finally she yells @ Sudha to get lost. Sudha goes.
Back @ the Sharma home, Deepu tells a sulking Jyoti that it was she who taught them to live courageously, and today they've had a big victory, so why isn't she happy? Jyoti tells him that she's worried about Sudha (hey, you were the one who refused to talk to Sudha, so how dare you bother about her now? Besides, don't you have faith in Uday looking after her?) Deepu tells her that he'd talk to Uday, so that once he returns home, he'll connect her to Sudha.
That night, at the Vashisth mansion, Sudha, having talked to Jyoti, is finally smiling, and thanks Uday, who's just returned. He tells her that she can talk to Jyoti whenever she likes (presumably on his phone). He notices that she's still worried, and asks her why. She tells him that mummy-ji is... and he tells her that he knows that his mom is angry w/ her, but he is not angry w/ her at all, but is very happy w/ her that she showed such courage. Despite her fear of CM, she supported Sandeep & Sushma in seeing justice done. The 2 hug, and Sudha tearfully smiles.
Next morning, @ the Sharmas, Deepu & Sushma call out Jyoti and prepare her for a surprise. They blindfold her w/ their hands and take her towards the door. They take her outdoors and tell her that there are things such as surprises.
Part 3
Finally, the blindfold is removed, and Jyoti opens her eyes. She sees posters of a dance school 'Jhankar Nritya Vidyalaya', and tells them that they did all that w/o her having a clue, but she has no idea whether she can do all that or not. Deepu tells her that the word 'can't' doesn't suit her. Sushma tells her that everybody knows that she's the best dancer, and as the lines start piling, they'll have to tell people, ' Sorry, boss, limited seats'. Deepu tells her that all big shots in town will send their kids there. (How is it such a good idea making Jyoti do all this when she is pregnant?)
Jyoti thanks them and tells them that they've fulfilled her dream, which she had almost forgotten. She tells them that today, they both seem to have grown so much, from being her lil bro & sis. Sushma tells her to hold her praises, or she'd not show her the even bigger surprise. Jyoti is curious, and they blindfold her again, and take her to the entrance of the Jhankar Nritya Vidyalaya. She is surprised again, but they tell her that she's in for still more surprises. They blindfold her again and take her into the building. There, they take her into a hall, that has a platform at the head w/ a statue of Nataraja. Now, Dadi, KK & Padma join them and they're all happy. Jyoti is thrilled by it all. She runs to KK & Dadi, and hug them. She asks Deepu how he did it, and he tells her that he took an advance from work, took some help from Sushma, and w/ everyone's blessings, this was pulled off! Jyoti asks why they started w/ such a big place, and Sushma tells her that since there'd be a big line for admissions, they rented a big place for that. Deepu tells her that today is the inauguration, and to do the pujas fast, before the students arrive. She hugs both Deepu & Sushma.
They perform the puja, and the guests start arriving. The room fills up soon. Everybody cheers at the completion of the puja. Jyoti welcomes them to the Jhankar Nritya Vidyalaya, but one of the guests gets up and asks her if she's Jyoti, and if she's the one who'll be teaching, and Deepu enthusiastically tells her yes. She then confirms that she's from the Vashisth family, and then takes her kid and walks out of there. Jyoti tries to find out why, and she tells her that she is the subject of conversation all over the city, and asks her not to make her say more in front of everybody. She asks why should any parents send their kids there, since they emulate what they see. Every student likes to be like their guru, and she doesn't want that her daughter be like Jyoti after learning from her. The Sharmas are all shocked to hear this. As this guest walks out, some of the others get up and ask her what's the deal? She tells them that Jyoti has a bad name, and recounts what's being said about Jyoti around town. Following this, everybody leaves, and soon the room is empty, despite Dadi's protests. Dadi starts crying in Deepu's arms, while Jyoti looks stunned. The entire family is hurt, and the scene ends on Jyoti's shocked face.

The first part of the episode looked very improbable - the cops agreeing to participate in a sting operation. Usually, either the person has to be very influential, or the crook in question must already be in the cross-hairs of police. At any rate, it turned out successful. My only disappointment was that at the end of it all, they still haven't recovered Sushma's bridal necklace - I just wish that one was uncovered and given back to her, along w/ CM's/Sudha's jewelry. Also, how did it occur to them to call exactly CM, and expose all this to her? Since they know Sushma had procured it for this sting, all they needed to do was return it to her, so that she could have discreetly returned it to Sudha. Aside from that, I sincerely hope that this is the end of the Brij saga.
On Sudha's move, I think she would have been smarter to lend Sushma Jyoti's jewelry that the latter left behind while leaving - she'd have got it back. But one thing she did right was tell CM the truth right away, unlike Jyoti when she was involved in pawning her jewelry. I wonder how CM dared threaten to throw her out, since she's already heard from Uday, unless she plans to let go of Uday w/ her. One thing I didn't like - Jyoti calling to find out about her. Sudha should have refused to talk to her, and just taken Uday into confidence. If Sudha can't call Jyoti and talk to her, as per Jyoti's instructions, how is it okay for Jyoti to talk to Sudha to find out whether she's okay? Besides, doesn't she trust Uday to take good care of her? I loved the Suday moment at the end - there have been few of these recently, and I want to see more, and not just the Sharma family rona-dhona.
On the school inauguration, at one level, it was cute, but as the scene at the end showed, it was not well thought out. If Jyoti is famous, and now infamous throughout town, how was it a good idea to get her such a high visibility job? Also, afaik, to teach dancing, one has to dance herself, and how do they expect the newly pregnant Jyoti to do that? It's not like they're floating on cash: it would have been different had Jyoti done this while her marriage was still going strong. Now, what does Deepu do - return the advance?
Jyoti's best move right now would be to adapt a low profile and lie low for a while, until she's no longer the focus of attention. Maybe resume looking for a job or starting the school after she's had the baby. Incidentally, is everyone in town such a busybody that just b'cos the head of the school has been the subject of conversation, they'll avoid it?
