Hmm so sad education getting mixed up with politics, under table bribery and immorality.

I read this today on the news along with the story about an Indian boy committing suicide for the creation of the new Indian state. (such BS! I'm not surprised people were against him getting cremated :@)
Even in the UK, when the school's regulator OFSTED come and investigate whether schools are up to the mark or not, they are given some notice. If the schools are performing very very badly then they are given something like a few months to a years notice to improve their standards. I wonder if those unis were given that opportunity.
First of all there are so many people who don't receive an education and those who do are now having that right stolen from them.

Since it is most likely that the institute will again get affiliated to parent university B, now the question arises---do those students getting such a large rank deserve to be a part of reputed university B? 😕

You hav raised a very valid point , in fact now i wonder if some hot shots child could not get admision in the reg univ & had to B content with a deemed univ after a hefty cap fee of course ! Now getting these deemed univ students affiliated to reg univ wud B very much to their advantage - 😉 These things do happen quite often in our country. To suit a few well connected persons rules & reg have known to B changed overnite in the past .
