Now....

Sid , throwing all of Riddzie's insults , slaps, arrests and whacks to the winds restored her honour and dignity back to her in the best way that he could. Not once did he mention to Riddhima or anyone what he went through and suffered because of Riddzie's blind prejudice. He simply did what his conscience told him - cleaned out Riddhima , willingly taking everybody's wrath and leaving Sanjivani.

It is easy to side with a woman when her honour is at stake , feel bad for her , whine like weeping willows but a man's honour stands equally vulnerable. And Sid ripped it apart for Riddhima's sake.

Not even once did Riddhima think why Sid did what he did. Not even once she tried to look inside herself. She was the queen of prejudice 2.5 years ago and the same holds true today as well.

Siddhant emerged a better human-being , a braver human-being and the finer species of the two. By doing what he did not need to do and rising to the occasion like a responsible and gutsy man , Siddhant has bypassed Riddhima. He is every inch a one up on the ever self-sympathetic Riddhima and she can never better him.

If it was a war indeed, Sid is clearly the winner.

The reason I love you dost, is because you always hit it on the head and you do it so gracefully. I agree with everything you said, especially the quoted part. Rids in two years has not changed much in her character arc, whereas Sid in a matter of months has grown in leaps and bounds.

Sid is no longer the idiot going for hotel food and running off to H-town, he has done a 180 and supported not only his friends, he said goodbye to Tamanna like a gentleman and he owned up to his behavior towards Riddhima like a gentleman as well.

We all know Riddhima is punishing him for what Armaan did to her, but Sid took it like a man.

Sexyface won the battle over Miss Riddhima Ickyface Gupta. 👏👏👏

How I will deal with life minus his UBS is another story.

U have penned it down so well....i was very very saddened watching today's episode!!😔

I truly respect and admire Sid for his courage to speak the truth, apologizing to ridhz and ready to face the consequences for his grave mistake!

I loved the fact he made it loud and clear that his intentions were never wrong just the method he choose!! even kreeti got the point!!

All i wished he wud have explained ridhz wht made him take such a drastic step..alas that female who wud never agree i guess..she is always right!! isn't she!

He has grown up, finally and grown-up with all the vigour and mind of a mature man. He was THE MAN today. Love him more than ever. 😳

Totally agree Nitica.. Sid has made Ridhimma, Tammanna, Naina and I dare say even Yuvi pale infront of him. When you see him, you realise how far he has come by in 3 months and how Ridhimma has always been where she is - and she will always be; Miss QP (Queen of Prejudice)...

Ridhimma will always be ashamed, but she will never agree the real reason for this to happen - herself.. Its her self-conceit and pride that stops her from questioning Sid's works.. Even if the truth is infront of her, she will deny it. She will give excuses, because now she has to pay the consequences.. they say, "you have to be wearing a mans shoes to know where it hurts" .. now that she has tasted the bitter dose, all she can do is cry - unfortunately Sid could not even do that!!

But all in all, If this was a battlefield, Sid has emerged every Inch of a man AND a good human being, that Ridhimma will never be able to be. Not even half as good!! So kudos to Sid- 👏👏👏

I totally agree with what you've written Poco! It takes alot to admit to your mistake, and even more so when its infront of a group of people, when you know that this will change the way people will percieve you for the worst. But Sid illustrates that sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself, for the betterment of another. Riddhima started off the conflict with a misunderstanding, and Sid ended it by atoning for his mistake and asking for forgiveness. There's so much he could have done or omitted to do when he realised how much hate his confession would generate. I feel so bad for him, he definitely came out the better person! No ones perfect but Sid isn't far off with what he did today! A hug would be something he needs and deserves right now! WHERE IS THE LOVE?! x
