Actually, hair is actually dead cells. The dermis packs old cells together to form follicles of hair. Only hair roots are 'live'. Usually hair donation is done through programs like Locks of Love that prepare hair transplants/wigs for cancer patients etc who lose hair through chemo. I have not come across religious prohibition on that, for its a service to people. But there maybe some extreme groups that do have such restrictions.

Waise to tissue ke upar bhi bahut issue hote hain.

There are certain small groups within Christianity, Islam, Judaism that prohibit it. They take the playing God very literally. They feel that anything that does not happen naturally is against God's will. Here we often have cases against parents because they refuse life saving treatment, blood transfusion, transplants etc for their kids who will eventually die without these treatments. There are several adults who will refuse treatment religiously because they feel that is not what God intended. These are very small groups though. In general most accept medicine to be perfectly fine and life saving treatment to be noble, and that humans have this knowledge through God's grace.
