| MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television's ploy to get fresh oxygen from old properties continues. Starting 26 January, the channel is bringing back Crime Patrol in a "bigger" way. "Yes, we are getting back Crime Patrol. Through the show, the channel would be addressing the social evils existing in the society which have not been addressed for a long time. Ignoring crime is a bigger crime," says Set business head Ajit Thakur, while refusing to provide other details. The half-hour show will air Monday-Thursday and will address the different set of crimes that are plaguing the country, according to asource. Crime Patrol, will focus on why the crime happened, how it happened and what could have been done to prevent it.
Although the show timings aren't scheduled as yet, the source says the show will either occupy the 8:30 pm or the 11 pm slot. Sony currently shows repeats of C.I.D. in these two time slots. |
