Another great dampner of news....Crime Patrol hits TV screens on SONY from 26th Jan either @8.30pm or 11.00pm..... so effectively its not replacing 'Baitaab' which is supposedly under scanner for poor TRPs.....!! 7.30pm slot is still empty.. with the CID re-runs.. Now that YRF shows havent boosted TRPs n KeKta ones doing no better... SERIOUSLY WHY CANT SONY give US BB-2????

Sony's 'Crime Patrol' starts 26 January

MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television's ploy to get fresh oxygen from old properties continues. Starting 26 January, the channel is bringing back Crime Patrol in a "bigger" way.

"Yes, we are getting back Crime Patrol. Through the show, the channel would be addressing the social evils existing in the society which have not been addressed for a long time. Ignoring crime is a bigger crime," says Set business head Ajit Thakur, while refusing to provide other details.

The half-hour show will air Monday-Thursday and will address the different set of crimes that are plaguing the country, according to asource. Crime Patrol, will focus on why the crime happened, how it happened and what could have been done to prevent it.

The show will be targeting women, especially housewives who are insecure about their surroundings today in both rural and urban cities.

Although the show timings aren't scheduled as yet, the source says the show will either occupy the 8:30 pm or the 11 pm slot. Sony currently shows repeats of C.I.D. in these two time slots.

"The 8:30 pm slot will be ideal as it can address both rural and urban audiences. But as the content is hard hitting, the placement is still being decided," the source adds.

what the hell yaar.......i just hate sonny......why this CID is not riding away.....they have space then why they are not lisaing the fans yaar....we are like hitting our head and they are not leasning to us

Hmm...agreed... Ghazal..i m just hoping that they read our mails..on the basis of Merits...n understand that all SONY shows hv POOR TRPs... so BB stil had better..n now if they do a BB-2...atleast they will hv better TRPs than other shows...

As for 7.30pm...slot..its empty.. n it hurts to see that its being wasted..

Gosh so we thought that CID was bad enough and then they drop a hiroshima bomb on us with this new crime patrol!!!! Guys can we seek shelter quick befor it comes falling down on us on the 26th of JAN!!!!...............😆 Seriously i juts hate Sony man!!!! Why oh why must they kill TV for us!!!! How much safety and crime related stuff do we need!! 😡 😡.................

Not juts the 7.30 slot is empty BUT THE WHOLE CID MARATHON SLOT SHD BE SCRAPPED OFFF!!!!! i dun get them showing repeats when BB part two can so be in place instead!!!!!!!!!!!! How do we understand their brains.. or wait i dun think these ppl have brains to begin with!!!!!...............😆

ohhho vini darling... cool down dear... i knw...its as hell frustrating..to see un-ending marathons on SONY...but seriously.. i mean..cant they simply..logically understand.. that BB was never in their way.. n that it was the only show..getting decent enouf TRPs...n that it makes sense to go for BB-2??

i mean of all things..the first thing they can do ..is start BB reruns..ASAP..
