Drawbacks of Film Critics.

How many agree to me that there NO film critics today. What they do is to write about the lead pair or the director and nothing else. There are so many people behind a movie who are not getting enough credits. They aren't noticed too. The perk has been enjoyed by actors, producers & directors.

What about the Cinematographers, Editors, Lighting & Cameramen, Dubbing Artistes etc ?

So many categories are ignored in Award Ceremonies too .
But why can't critics write about them ?

Maybe the average person isnt too concerned about all that.. If a critic starts writing about the lighting on a set.. "wow.. the lighting was superb.. just the right angle" ... dont think that many people would be reading that review.. they'll just jump to the next critic..🤔

The problem is that the average movie goer does not care for technicalities behind the scenes. They are more concerned with merely the lead pair, the general movie in terms of script, direction etc and thats that. Modern film critics cater to that.

However, there is a difference between popular critics and serious technical critics. If you are into movies seriously, including all technical aspects you will find your way to the technical critics and sites that discuss everything from lead pairs to behind the scenes.

IF technical and lighting team not so happy with something you wrote.😆
Yes it can happen sometimes if the transmission line is faulty.
Sometimes it could be a software bug in IF, should take note and report.
