bt yet i dnt blame geeta coz yestd i felt somewhere it was initiated by Terrence..i love terrence a lot..bt yest i think he was the first to comment on Ameeth & Kishore's performance and he told tht ameeth u tried something new...u explored ur weakness..a new genre..apne strentgh ke saath to sab kkelte hai..kishore aapne apne strength se khela hai..u performed in wht u r good at...something on those lines...so somewhere terrence did put kishore down..he cld have jst said tht this was nt ameeth's genre bt yet he tried and performed well...bt the last addition was somewht unwanted..i wnt say it was wrong bt ya it was nt needed.. and i think tht is wht provoked geeta to comment on ameeth...
jst my observation...i dnt intend to hurt anyones feelings.. 😊
I totally understand when you are coming from but I think you might have misunderstood what he was trying to say.
Let me give an example. Last week all bottom 6 contestants stuck to their forte except maybe Meenu. But for Meenu she wasn't entering a new dance form that was difficult, it was the body language and expressions that would have been difficult. But let's look at the others. Shruti stuck to hip hop, even vandana stuck to bollywood/classical type dancing, kishore did what he was best at and even ameeth and naresh did what they are good at. However this week Terence took a risk. The style of dance that Ameeth did is something completelyyyyyy different to what he usually does. Those stunts that he did were very risky, I mean playing wih fire is never easy and to actually create a performance from it takes a lot of training. We all know it's not possible to learn classical dancing within a week, Geeta Maa herself should know that very well. I remember when I trained for Bharatanatyam with an amazing dance teacher for a little over 4 months and even 4 months is wayy too little time to grasp all the mudras and to grasp the whole form then forget about one week (if they were even given that). If we compare dancing to something which we have been dancing to for years and just adding a bit extra in it, then obviously we know that both have worked hard but I think Ameeth worked a lot harder to do what he did, there was definitely no 'safety net'.
My point is that when peole come to the bottom 6, everyone looks to play it safe and dance to something they are already very good at and it takes guts to do what Ameeth and Terence did and Terence was 100% right when he said he wasn't playing it safe.
