Patching up early is always better. Ego hassles ruin all beautiful relationships. Especially if it is male ego. When you are in love, who initiates patch up is not important. Probably Abhi likes her quality of putting family first. He is just concerned she is not hurt in the process. Simi talks to him at college, it's him who continues sarcasm. She tells Mili only Abhi understands me well. Even Abhi tells her'Mujhse behtar tumhe koi aur nahi samajhta. He feels belittled by her selflessness, if not he wont mention in the letter'apni nazaron mein mujhe chota bana diya cos he would never be able to do what Simi did.
It's better to have a beautiful relationship where fights are healthy but without ego hassles about who's right or wrong and ruin your happiness in the process. The usual older male- younger woman marriage involves men having a higher end in decision making and the wife accepts the husband's decision be it right or wrong.Probably men foregoing their ego'here in the character as Abhi's may be worth considering.
Just a thought process. I may be wrong. It's a way of finding a reasoning why Abhi likes her in spite of Simi being this way. But the question as to what he finds in her that he fell for her, he had sort of mentioned at their first park meeting'..kisne kaha tum moti aur baddhi ho? Kisne kaha tum khoobsoorat nahi dikhti?'kaafi attractive ho, smart ho, mujhe pasand ho.
Your comments please??

Anyone would tell that to bring up the spirits of a women who is having inferiority complex bcos of her looks. That cannot be taken as an 'I Love You'!

I wanted her to just explain why she did that and why she spoke soo rudely abt him getting a jib and critisizing him !! Three people were laughing whole heartedly and one of them being the love of your life you looked like a foll so give some explanation abt it..Originally posted by: Laila2009
It's kind of contradictory if what you like about a person is the very behavior that results in you getting kicked around and treated as second best. It's also this behavior of putting your family first that makes no sense when they don't deserve it. It's not enough upon which to build love or a relationship. It's rather a poor and weak reason as to why a person would ever fall in love with someone else. When two people are in love, it still does matter who make the first step towards apologizing. In this case it should have been Simi and she did diddly sqat (nothing) and actually had an attitude towards Abhi when he confronted her for her actions. When a person does something wrong, that person should apologize.I am not sure I find anything healthy or normal in the relationship between Abhi and Simi. It was very rushed, had little rationale and has always been one sided (Abhi doing all and Simi sitting back mooching/sucking him dry). I don't see Abhi forgoing his ego, I see him being treated like dirt and losing his self-worth. That's not appealing in any guy. Abhi is not acting like a jerk towards her at all (except the one incident several weeks ago at Children's Park).Simi is "smart?" about what? I have seen nothing smart about her. The whole "rushed" romance had no reason. What did Abhi see that was so smart about her? Also Abhi seeing her as beautiful? The only time was the wedding to RB where she looked different. For a bulk of the show she's dressed in frumpy suits and worn a braid. I would have thought we'd see her makeover and him realizing that she was really pretty.Simi has no personality, no sense of humor, no wittiness etc. She is very dull boring and dry. Right now on Sony is a show - Mahi Way - the girl is fat (Simi looks thin compared to her), lacks self-worth, but when you listen to her talk, she has some of the wittiest lines and an amazing personality; I would fall for her over Simi because she at least tries to do her best.Let me add, we have seen very little in the development of the relaitonship between Abhi and Simi. All we get is two minutes with them together, a song for aother two mintues along with some staring. Abhi going on about how much he loves her and Simi calling him a bachcha. Then we see Simi with Nukul, needing to sacrifice, giving Abhi a swift kick in the family jewels (slang for something else we won't mention) and then making him apologize for it.Frankly speaking, I think Simi's a complete bitch, high maintenance and if she was even a friend, I wouldn't want to know her because she's always going to be about her need to make her family happy.
