Yes, today's epi was a mix of downright pathetic saasu characterization on the one hand, and Radhika's fearless, borderline confident persona to face up to her saas, and not budge until saas ki saas ~ OUR GREAT DAADIMA gave her heartfelt ASHIRWAAD, just loved it, loved it ...
From today's epi, no one can blame Radhika for not trying to explain, and that too with so much firmness and dignity, and yet apologetic and kshama-yaachna coz saasu is after all her MIL and her husband's ill-at-ease and misplaced and misguided MOM. If only saas had not turned around and instead blamed Rads for the accident, Radhika would have cleared all misconceptions and misunderstanding, which this saasu seem to harbor a lot of, sadly ...
Amen to Daadi that she defended Rads at every turn, favored her at every turn, spoke highly of her values at every turn, even made sure twice in firm voice to hand over the household keys to CHOTI BAHU. Hats off to you, our universal Daadimaa !! Her experienced eye, maturity, magnanimity and wisdom recognizes Radhika's qualities blindfolded, even without knowing anything about the accident. Wait till she finds THAT out !!
Oh, absolutely LOVED the precap !! And this is one time DJ's wont stoop to editing / deleting it tomorrow ... As pj52 said, the difference this time is ~ Unlike in May-june, this time our Dev has full authority, complete 007 (!!) license to hug her legally wedded wife from behind and tossing the okra in the air !!! Oh, simply divine !!! And yes, Radhika also demonstrating probably for the first time an authoritative, smiley, lovey-dovey gesture, however brief and transient in that famous kitchen !!

Her life is always a grind. She is so much used to working hard, serving all that Vaishali's torture is nothing in front of what she has gone through. Atleast dadi is there to watch Vaishali and Vivek to guard Mrinalini ...
Yes, Radhika has had to prove all her life, be that her maayka or now at PB, grindingly, beseechingly, always sacrificing, always putting everyone else's wishes ahead of hers, losing her identity in others ... NOT ANY MORE ... Not for Dev's sake .. And Dev and Dev's love is going to make sure that his Rads comes out of this self-imposed, self-created shell, once and for all .... Enough !!
While I didn't much care for vaishali's childish, unpolished, uncouth and un-PR-like challenge to Radhika to prove whether she deserves to be PB's CB, I liked the challenge coz this will give Rads one more ammunition to prove Daadi's confidence and faith in her abilities and sanskaars right.
Some postee mentioned that this may create some ridge between Rads and Dev, but I have my doubts, coz he now knows his mother's misplaced naraazgi and how important it is for Rads to have and to earn saasu's acceptance and respect. And I admire Dev's confidence, while removing his shoes, that "it's going to be all fine !!" (Remains to be seen though..) Rest is up to DJ's brilliant ideas from one day to the next (yes, I'm sarcastic !!)
