January 11, 2010 Written Update
Jyoti sits down to eat and tells her family not to treat her differently, and she's the same Jyoti she always was. Next day, a neighbor comes in taunting Padma and her family abt Jyoti and her affair with her bro-in-law Brij. Deepu intervenes and kicks the lady out. Padma is upset seeing all this and expresses her concern abt how this will affect all of them. Jyoti is in her room feeling guilty abt what her family has to face because of her, but KK comes there and comforts her.
In Vashisht house, Meenal calls Sudha down to the kitchen and catches her looking at a photo of Jyoti. She tells her to get rid of it, but Sudha refuses, saying that it is her room and since Uday has no prob with it she has the right to keep it. Meenal tries to throw the pic away, but Sudha catches her hand. Meenal leaves furious.
Jyoti goes for a job interview the next day where she is turned down as soon as they find out she is the Vashisht's bahu. She overhears them gossip abt her being kicked out, her alleged affair, etc and is hurt. End.
