Hey everyone!!
We have all sort of accepted the fact that that mjht is going the saas bahu way......with all the possible family drama, marriage and all. Can't keep banging our head over the same thing again and again if no one's there to listen so guess we can safely keep that aside.
Talking about characters and the actors performances in todays episode. There have been endless posts saying Mayank's character has been butchered or nupur being irresponsible......but if u keep aside the disliking for the current track how exactly are their character butchered? ( considering past couple of weeks here)
Mayank......I hated when he used the ladder to meet nupur. To a point where i stopped watching the show just read updates. But then what got me back was his constant guilt of doing something like that. He hated himself for loosing control. He after speaking to his mom knew exactly what he needed to do. Yes that ladder scene was a huge sway in his character but who doesn't make mistakes. Don't we all at some point.....?? Important is to realise your mistake, not repeat it in future....and try to correct it.........exactly what mayank is doing right now.
Nupur - Nupur's character surely has been played with several times but in past couple of weeks she has been totally in character or i should say in her best character.......accepting her love for mayank in front of bui with mayank's support........showed that she truly loves mayank and will face anything if he is with her.......that's a plus
the way she described mayank in front of bauji......that showed her love, her faith in him, her strength and confidence......that's a plus.....
and now her running off.....i don't know how many people here have experienced such adverse situations but when some random guy is already in your house with a ring and his family.......and no one is listening to u......people sometimes do things that are last resorts......and for nupur this was her last resort.......she tried every possible thing......but failed.....it was now or never for her........so her not telling her sister or not caring abt her parents emotions are irrelevant things right now........her life is at stake.......she might be wrong but sometimes some situations call for it and the line b/w right and wrong becomes bleak.......as Mayank rightly put there are no retakes in life......!!!
To be very frank if my parents hooked me up to a guy like adhi no offense to adhi ji i'd not only flee but flee to the african jungle and marry some african "adhi"waasi there instead......
About the scene......
I loved every second of it.....
Mayank was concerned about her when he came to know she was not at her home......and the min. he saw her.....he was relieved, happy and in a second switched to being concerned again this time about the consequences of her being here......He was totally mayank sharma a guy who can keep his cool, stay calm and think rationally in tough situations......He made a mistake earlier and at no cost he was going to make another one or let nupur make one.
Nupur was scared and under a lot of stress.....he was amazing at helping her calm down and then the way he explained his POV only showed the integrity of this guy. He cares for her family and would never hurt them......but at the same time he loves nupur to death and will never let her go away from him either.....He is confident of himself and that confidence gave nupur much needed relief and courage......
Nupur on the other hand was totally nupur.......under such situation she reacted exactly how a girl like nupur wud. She was scared of loosing the love of her life........her childhood dream of marrying her rajkumar was being shattered.....she was scared and lost. She was helpless yet knew she had to do something. So she flee......she is not the girl who wud commit suicide or give up rather she will fight even if her way is wrong to some........but it was just a desperate act.....that's why mayank was able to talk her out of it within no time.
I have to add these two are perfect.........they exactly know how to handle each other......
Over time their relationship has matured and it was very well shown in todays episode.......
Hats off to Arjun and Rati for their flawless and brilliant performances!!!!!
