Srk's Ra.1 - Spoiler Alert

All those wanting to know what SRK's next Ra1, here's the skinny. According to an insider, "The SFX laden superhero action film has Shah Rukh Khan playing a software engineer called Shekhar.

A geek, his favourite past time is playing and designing video games. In fact, he's so obsessed that he ends up creating a monster character in one of his games who comes alive and starts killing people in real life.

Now Shekhar has to use technology to turn himself as a super hero and enter the video game world to battle the monster. Shekhar takes on the name of RA1."

The film will be based in Miami and Hollywood crew is being used for the film. Cinematography is by Ueli Steiger ("The Maiden Heist"), while David Benullo ("Shadow Man") is screenwriter.

Kareena plays SRK's love interest in the film. The authorities have already given permission to the crew to shoot a major car chase scene sometime in March." Watch this space for more...

First, odd pairing, then this weird synopsis. Oh Shah kya karrahe ho aap?!?! I hope you know what you're doing. The only positive out of this is that some hollywood people are involved.

The synopsis is very similar to Aishwarya-Rajnikant starrer 'Robot' that will be dubbed in Hindi too. I know it won't be a success in the Hindi belt but SRK starrer would lose grounds in the South. That is definitely not a good thing. If this continues to be the story then it is inviting controversy as Shankar will surely take on it as he had first offered 'Robot' to SRK.

This is Robot's synopsis.

"The film is about a scientist, played by Rajini who lives about 200 years in the future. He is passionate about making robots that have the ability to rationalize things. Designed to help humanity the robots are themselves like humans with many emotions. One such robot (played by Rajini again) is tampered upon by people of evil intent. And so this robot lives a life of its own putting humanity at risk."

The film Robot was written by Shankar and he wanted to make the film with SRK. However SRK & he had some difference of opinion & therefore Shankar decided to make the movie with Rajini. SRK was aware that Shankar wanted to call his movie Robot. In no time he registered the title for red chillies. This really infuriated Shankar & Rajini who are pissed off with SRK for registering the title inspite of knowing that Shankar was calling his movie Robot.
