The synopsis is very similar to Aishwarya-Rajnikant starrer 'Robot' that will be dubbed in Hindi too. I know it won't be a success in the Hindi belt but SRK starrer would lose grounds in the South. That is definitely not a good thing. If this continues to be the story then it is inviting controversy as Shankar will surely take on it as he had first offered 'Robot' to SRK.

This is Robot's synopsis.

"The film is about a scientist, played by Rajini who lives about 200 years in the future. He is passionate about making robots that have the ability to rationalize things. Designed to help humanity the robots are themselves like humans with many emotions. One such robot (played by Rajini again) is tampered upon by people of evil intent. And so this robot lives a life of its own putting humanity at risk."

Maya its no longer called Robot, its called Enthiran (tamil for robot)

I don't have a good feel about RA 1. I think if SRK is going to make a Sci-Fi film then it would be a nice idea to take a newcomer girl opposite him or someone like Shazahn Padamsee/Gauhar Khan/Soniya Mehra (someone relatively new and not a star yet).

An actor and a star of Kareena's caliber deserves better. SRK-Kareena pairing should be something that is interesting to all age groups and audience.

Ra1 will kick a$$ just wait and watch! Srk wanted to do a super hero flick for the longest time.. I am excited for him!

In TN because of only Tamil for film titles rule, right? But it is going to be dubbed in Hindi and title is 'Robot'.
