I find it odd that in India they interview the character and not the actor who protrays the actor. Can they not differentiate between the two?

Sometime back, I either read or heard an actor's interview where he said - In the TV industry, Actors are known for their characters (he meant, whatever adulation they get is bcos of the character they play) and in Film Industry, Actors are known for being the actors and not the characters.

Even I was surprised reading(or hearing) that! I was new to TV serials so wasn't aware of that part of what he said.!!

But long time back, I read (online entertainment news) people all over India had problem with a young character dying in some famous serial (maybe Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi?) that the creators were forced to bring that character back!! So, he might have been trying to point that out too .. that in India viewers get so attached to the characters watching these soaps that they recognise the person as the character and not the actor!

Also, not many (think percentage wise) of the India viewers go to google and checkout who the actor is etc...

Yes he seems so jovial poor guy he is sulking big time and being an a** in KB !!!

He has a good voice 😳

They cud have utilized his voice in the show and sang for his family it wud have been so nice !!!
