Himani Kapoor has been flooded with playback singing offers in Bollywood after her performance in the Zee TV programme 'Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa'.
On a personal visit, Himani talked to mediapersons at the house of her maternal uncle Vijay Mehta here today.
She said the audio cassette of her first film 'Chingari', in which had sung a 'thumri', had been released.
She added that she had recorded songs for a film by Aditya Dutt and a song with Himesh Reshamiya.
She further said she had been signed by Subhash Ghai for one of his forthcoming films.
Himani said the television show had helped her a lot in becoming what she was today and had catapulted her from a non-entity to a celebrity.
She said she could not make it to the final three rounds as her supporters had stopped sending SMSs for her due to confusion as according to a website, a male and a female singer were to be declared winners.
She said when the only other female singer in the final rounds was eliminated, her supporters had thought that she was the automatic winner.
Asked who she thought would win the competition, she said Vinit had bright chances, though Debojit and Hemachandra were also doing very well.
Himani was the only contestant from Haryana to take part in the competition. Her hobbies were singing, playing basketball and driving.
