What they are showing is the truth! Its really dangerous for an autistic or mentally or physically handicapped girl who is growing up! Parents and teachers have to be extra cautious that no pervert tries to take advantage of them!
Adi's terminal illness is being shown because ultimately it will be Vidya who will have to be strong and be Antara's parent and support system! Adi wil die and Vidya will be a single mother or perhaps marry Dr. Vikram.
