yes yes he's very much in character. if you had studied emma you'd know mr knightly is around 30-35 a very dignified ,gentleman,he's very mature doesn't smile or laugh much
emma on the other hand is much younger around 23-24 very immature but thinks she knows everything lol
whatever they've summarized in this pic is wrong its emma who is a rich spoiled brat not mr.knightley he's the one who actually gives emma timely advice but yeah emma being emma doesn't listen to him and gets into trouble.
Its one of the best literary works ever,everyone should read emma.its fab:)
