My mind walks along paths less travelled,
To what do I owe these sign boards?
A stolen heart beat from a moment's dream,
A loud sigh and a silent scream!
My eyes skim over surfaces less scanned,
To whom do I dedicate these fragrant hues?
A wild thought and an ardent prayer,
A rare smile from a seasoned player!
His eyes speak to me as he stands silently,
To what do I owe that subtle appraisal?
A poignant message from teasing smiles,
A story unfolding and hope across miles!
My heart sings out melodies less heard,
To whom do I dedicate this rhapsody?
A distant mating call and some baggage,
A twinkling ember from the last voyage!
My boat shimmers idly at the quay,
To what do I owe this destination?
A lifetime of joy from a lover's kiss,
A fulfilled dream and a moment of bliss!
