Salman Khan to spend birthday in Panvel

Mumbai: Salman Khan, who turns 44 years old today, is mixing personal and professional space on his birthday. Sources indicate that Katrina Kaif is at his Panvel farmhouse recuperating from her surgery, and Salman is expected to spend the day with her and his family. A family lunch is on and his sisters Arpita and Alvira are taking care of the birthday celebrations.

"Salman is a very private person on his birthday and doesn't like to meet many people. So like every year, this year too he will only give importance to his family," says a close friend.

Post lunch, Salman will head to his workstation as his forthcoming movie is set to release next month. Salman is starting a worldwide hunt for a daring soul whose bravery has managed to save a life or bring a critical crisis situation in control on his birthday. Another informer says, "Salman will spend the rest of the day on his computer uploading videos of bravery and anecdotes of people who think they have done acts of courage. Salman will then select the five winners who will get to meet him personally."

At night, Salman's close industry friends like David Dhawan, Govinda and others are expected to join him for dinner.

Wishing Salman Khan a very happy Birthday

There goes a popular saying 'If at all, there is heaven on earth, it is here, it is here, it is here'! A slight modification of this proverb will read as 'If at all, there is a heavenly soul on earth, it is him, it is him, it is him'! We are indeed referring to the one and only Salman Khan, who celebrates his Birthday today.

Talking even a word about Salman will be equivalent to holding torchlight before the blazing sun! For starters (if at all, there are any), Salman Khan is the name of the smashing dude who was born to the most illustrious man that Bollywood has ever produced: Salim Khan. Hailing from a filmi background, Bollywood was the, but obvious calling for this man, who chose to earn his 'stardom', rather than taking a cakewalk before the arclights! Even though Salman started off his career with humble beginnings in an average fare like Biwi Ho To Aisa, it was the eternal smash hit Maine Pyaar Kiya, that made him an overnight sensation and a household name. Post that, Salman went onto write and rewrite Box-Office history...on his own terms and in his impeccable style. Even though Salman Khan has everything going for him today, the USP of this man remains in the fact that he is still the down-to-earth guy, for the common man!

Salman Khan is currently off women; he brings in his 45th birthday at a party at his farm in Panvel, for which no women are invited

Salman Khan is well-known in Bollywood circles for his wild parties. If the party happens to be his birthday bash and that too at his farmhouse at Panvel, it promises to be double the fun. However, yesterday night, Salman had a low-key celebration for his 45th birthday. He had a stag party.

A source says, "Bhai is known to have fun during his parties at Panvel. His parties are much awaited and talked about by his guests. Salman's large-heartedness ensures that all of them have a blast. However, this year, Salman is not in one of his merry moods. After his break-up with Katrina Kaif, he is not in the mood to go all out and celebrate. So, on his special day, he did not send invitations to any female. He did not feel the need to have a girlfriend by his side or even bask in the glory of any other female company. Incidentally, Katrina is in London to celebrate Christmas and New Year with her family. Salman has invited only his close male friends. Also, unlike every year, the celebration this time is not on a lavish scale. Yesterday's party was held only for his close friends music composers Sajid Wajid, hairstylist Aalim Hakim, his bodyguard Shera, his close associate Nadeem, his filmmaker friends Vijay Galani and Sajid Nadiadwala among others. Salman has already celebrated his birthday with his family on Saturday night."

Let's hope that by next year, the tide turns and the large-hearted Khan gets back to hosting lavish parties.

No entry for women at Salman's B'day bash

Salman celebrates his 45th birthday bash only with male friends at his Panvel farmhouse.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated his 45th birthday on Dec 27th this year at his farmhouse in Panvel. If you're a hardcore Salman fan, you must be aware of the fact that Salman loves to party hard. No wonder he's so popular for his parties! Ask anyone from the industry, except for SRK, about his parties and they're sure to say a few good words about it, especially the ones celebrated at his farmhouse till date. Some stars are crazy about cars, bikes, vacation homes, etc., and do not mind spending a bomb after it, but Sallu loves to generously splurge on his birthday bash every year.

However, this year, his birthday celebration seemed to be a little thanda. Any guesses why? Well, very simple! His ladylove Katrina Kaif wasn't there for his party. Now, if you think Kat was busy shooting on that day for a film with Akki or Ranbir or simply wanted to ignore him, let us tell you that you're absolutely wrong. Didn't you know that her family comes first for her and then the rest? Well, Kat was busy celebrating Christmas with her mom and sisters in London. So, now you know why was she missing in the party?

Now, what was shocking on this occasion was that there were no girls invited for his party at all. Yes, you read that right! Salman's party with no women around? Pretty shocking, huh! Well, we have no clue whether it was because he knew that Kat wouldn't be there by his side on this special day, so he thought Kat nahi toh aur koi nahi? Or was this idea suggested by Katrina herself? If sources are to be believed, it's said that this year's party wasn't really big. Only close friends like Sajid Wajid, hairstylist Aalim Hakim, his bodyguard Shera, and Sajid Nadiadwala, to name a few, were present at his party.
