guess wot ppl jolly das is all better nw. she went 2 the sony office and sed that she wants hur place in indian idol bak and that anuj shood be removed. i think anuj shood b removed but i also think that jolly shouldnt be brought bak!!!!! this is wot she sed
"I can't believe that they are taking away my right to be a part of the show. This is grave injustice and I am going to fight it", says Jolly. She adds that her resting period where she underwent treatment was not more than seven days. "I wasn't bedridden or as serious as they painted me to be. The stories that have been leaked about me by the channel are ridiculous. "
What angers her the most is the fact that a singer (Anuj Sharma) who was voted out in the piano round, has been brought back in her place.
"They have replaced me with somebody who was voted out very early in the competition. It is an insult to all my hard work."
Indian Idol 3
Jolly does not find solace in the fact that the channel has announced that she will be admitted in the final rounds of Indian Idol 3 next year. "Who has seen the future? What if I have an accident? Or what if there is no Indian Idol next year? I can't afford to miss out on this chance, after I have come so close."
After visiting the sets of Idol, Das was denied entry into the studio — a chance to meet her fellow contestants. "They were very rude to me and didn't let me say hello to my friends. I am sure there is some conspiracy where some one wants me out of the show."
The contestant flew into in the city last night with her parents and is staying in Malad at a relative's place. How long does she plan to stay in the city? "All the doors have been shut on my face. My only hope is that people know the real story — I have been denied a fair chance."
Nina Jaipuria, from Sony, presented the channel's point of view. "Our stand remains the same. Jolly is welcome to join us on the next season of Idol, but she cannot participate in this segment," she said.
When asked what made the channel come to the conclusion she said, "Her quarantine period is not yet over. We haven't received any evidence from the doctor that she's beyond the contagious stage.
Neha (Kakkar) was down with chicken pox, after that Jolly got it, we definitely don't want other contestants to get affected by the illness. I can't afford putting the remaining participants in danger which is why she wasn't allowed to meet them."
She also pointed out that the international producers — Freemantle have dealt with similar situations before and arrived to a conclusion. "We gave a time period beyond which we had to take a call. As I said she is welcome to join us in Indian Idol 3."
i think personally she shood jst give up!! nobody liked her anyway!!
