. . .complaining about the CVs, they just hit us with such a power-packed episode! I really liked it.
Inder was superb in the first few minutes. I liked how Damini was pleading with Prithvi to deny what Inder had said. Pleading gently first and then aggressively when she didn't see him respond the way she'd wanted him to.
Roshni's blonde moment - "Varun's a Saxena too" did bring a smile to my face. I liked that we had that scene- well done to the script and screenplay writers. It was sad that she brought the point up to make a case for what Damini was saying about how there could be a zillion Saxenas in the world and then realised the instant she said it, that perhaps her sister was wrong. That they were all wrong. And Inder was right.
The silence from the Saxenas to Inder's accusations were used well to bring the Gujraals together. I liked the scene that followed continuous silence from the brothers for their questions and how the Gujraal sisters walked towards their mother to form a pack when they realised that there was something wrong because the Saxenas weren't denying what Inder was saying. It resembled how a group of mixed lions would walk towards their own pride in a situation where their territory was in danger: slowly with their guards up. Just like in Lion King!
Ela Gujraal, asking Prithvi to take his time and not give into any pressure before answering the question was class. She went to Prithvi first and then to Sameer for answers which neither of them gave her. It was a lost cause by then and then Prithvi said it. Said that it was all true and that they were indeed the Saxenas. Sons of Blaraj Saxena.
Roshni breaking down in the room was brilliant. She broke down first, naturally because she's the youngest and possibly the most naive of the lot. But was quick to pick herself up when she realised that her problems were nothing next to what her sisters had got themselves into. Damini asking her to be strong and insisting that they will get through this was all in character. I liked how Damini and Avni walked out of the room and went in opposite directions. They knew that they couldn't show their weaknesses to each other. Not now. Not when they all needed each other the most. Straight after, Avni walks into the kitchen to break down - in keeping with her character and Damini walks into the press conference to finish it off, just like how you'd expect her to. Be the eldest "son" and attempt to fix things. Chandana really is a fine actress. She emoted brilliantly today. Felt she didn't even have to make an effort to bring out those emotions. Well done!
I still think it might have been nicer to have some more pleasant scenes between the jodis before this came out but on the grand scale of things, I guess by bringing the truth out, we finally have the beginning of the real love stories. Each pair is an open book now- they aren't hiding anything from each other and what better way to start the real love stories than this. I am hoping the CVs have some lovely scenes planned for the future. More beautiful than what they could have given us before rushing into the truth. Once again, the cast and crew of LNMDJ, take a bow! Today was yet another feather to the cap!
P.S: Going by the precap and the coming up scenes, tomorrow's going to be another good episode.
