Is an illegitimate relationship acceptable?

Can Khemi and Arjan continue to have the incestuous relationship just because Khemi is expecting the Mahiyavanshi heir? The baby was conceived when their relationship was not known.Now DM will not let Khemi leave because she's pregnant.That makes some sense but why will DM allow them to continue the incestuous relationship?

Well, it's not an ACTUAL incestuous relationship. It's incest by marriage and it took place when the principals had no idea they were related. So...

I agree with Bumi that there it cannot be termed an incestuous relationship as there is no blood relation at all between Arjan and Khemi. DM is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I agree that by scientific definition, the relationship between Khemi and Arjan does not fit into incest. But, sometimes marriage and the relationships that get acquired by default tend to be challenging. By virtue of consanguinity, the Armi marriage is clean but by virtue of them being aunt and nephew by marriage, a conjugal relationship between the two could be classified as incestous (i stress this for a rural setting where relationships are under constant scrutiny) by those who want to create problems.

If Arjan-Khemi are now forced to separate then the one who will be affected the most is the unborn child - more so than either Arjan or Khemi.

The thing is I dun have any problem with the relationship.

I was rooting for HItmi to happen but it didn't. Now i am glad Hiten shld never be with Khemi coz Toral is best for him.

but i don't think so hiten will be gud to toral, still khemi is in that mansion. just see he didn't call toral, after that day. only once he called that, now he is not ready for marriage. it shows how much he cares abt her. and i don't want toral to become one more santu in that house, bcz hiten is behaving same like his father

Khemi and Arjan relationship doesn't bother me for the reasons that Chalia stated previously. But only their personalities bothers me.

their relationship wont be a problem eventually when the cv's show that arjan is not DM's son after all
