No, actually you cannot . . . I cited a Phineas Gage in one of my early threads so it may be of value to look him up on the net . . . his condition was completely irreversible (granted he was not knowingly making mistakes - but then who does?) . . . a great many physiological parameters must fall within a norm for people to have the capacity for change . . .

As long as Anuj is associated with his ET wife Anita - the latter running amok at the Ta(ne)ja Mahal, I don't see him changing . . . I can substantiate myassertion with empirical evidence from within my own family . . . we were all duped by that person for a while, until we realized that he was actually a masterful actor 😔

I don't know about others, but I don't claim I haven't done any mistake but I do know what is right and what is wrong, atleast to an extent and try to learn from my mistakes. But Anuj had several opportunities to correct his mistake/atleast to look in the eye of his family, but he was so blinded by his wanting that money that he doesn't think he did any wrong at all?

Here I was thinking about the time when Anuj was eager to get married and never realised that Simi was going thro hell forcing herself to get married to RB.. I am just talking with context to sibling bonding

Totally agree with belledejour's post .. seriously, what is it about you that I don't understand .. hate to admit but I find your posts fascinating too .. in a weird sort of way.. Get the same feel that you are doing it for fun!

What Anuj has done, is punishable 'by law' - stealing and domestic violence. What's more surprising is that Anuj had the nerve to 'take that stolen money with him when he left' !! This guy is not sorry.. none of this has made him repent his actions.. there's no correct way of handling such a guy .. he has derailed himself to an extent that he cannot be put back on track. The only way out is to let him go.. let him learn on his own.

So the bag he was carrying was full of money !!! I just hated the way Manju was holding his legf and she was literally being dragged by him !!

Another thing being discussed here - joint families. Let's just say I've seen a living example of a joint family of over 30 people living under the same roof (palace/villa) .. the ground rule for sustaining this tradition is simple - you think about yourself, BUT you also think about the whole family -making sure your actions does not affect the rest in a negative way. Stealing from within the family and hitting upon each other is a BIG NO NO! .. that's a definite route to getting roosted from the place.. Contrary to what is thought, joint families are much more open minded than nuclear ones. (Oh by the way, girls are allowed to marry someone of their own choice, even someone younger 😉 --fyi only to you-know-who 😉) ..

anuj has not committed any small mistake...cheating ur own dad is miserable..obviously any sister wld react like this..it is nthing small like u wanna go out in the night so ur sis will hide it frm ur parents...its a big mistake..RS got insulted bcoz of this..and if u notice anuj has always been selfish....and the best part...his mistake is caught red-handed..yet he doesnt want to accept he did wrong..he is acting like he is the best person in the world...cmon at least have the decency to ask forgiveness.....no instead he is still supporting his wife and slaps his younger sister...now wht more r we w8ing for.???
i think simi was completely right in bringing anuj's mistake in front of everyone..tht moment she was so depressed bcoz her father was insulted..and then she comes to know tht its her own brother who is the cause of all this trouble..so obviously she is gonna get mad at him....and RS has the full right to remove him from the house..i dnt think there shld be any place for anuj in that house bcoz he doesnt have any respect in his heart for his family members...
