HR's comments on KJJesudas, SPB, Harih

I just watched 27th Jan episode..

I saw HR commenting 'if you ask yesudasji, hariharnji or spbalasubramanyam ji to sing a sukhwinder song, how difficult it would be (for them?)'

Friends, frankly, this comment was immature, unnecessary, unwanted, bad in taste and highly deplorable.

I ask HR , throgh india-forum, to use his grey-cells a bit more than his mouth, before he takes the names of eminent singers like KJJesudas and SP Balasubramanyam... and ofcourse perfect Hariharan...

First of all, as a digital music composer, HR had no business to take the name of classical music legend KJJesudas. Does HR know KJJesudas was a disciple of gretest carnatic music legend Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagawathar and that KJ is a lving carnatic music legend? I guess when KJJ was singing 'gori tera gaun bada...', HR must have been in his half-drawers not knowing what 'music' is....

Now coming to SP Balasubramanyam, what does HR know about SPB? Without wasting my energy on a number things, let me give one small example...when SPB was singing his all-time-all-india hits in the movie 'sankarabharanam', HR must have been sucking his thumb in his mouth..

Now, just because few of his digital compositions have become hit, he has the audacity to bring great names like KJJ and SPB and compare them with Sukhwinder??? I am not at all suggesting here that Sukhwinder is not a good singer..I am only pointing out HR's immature mind in doing comparisons....

Perhaps you may be wondering why I have not talked about Hariharan...as all of us know, Hariharan is another legend in making and simply don't understand again why HR had to take Hariharan's name here...

Himmesh, may god bless you with more maturity and please think before you speak infront of music lovers and infront of a camera...

Thanks so much for bringing this up. I have been seething about that
comment since Tuesday. I don't if HR is racist or playing the regional
card or just an idiot, but I am so sick of these comments. He made a
comment comparing Chandu to SPB after he sang Ay Ajnabi which is an
Udit Narayan song.

If anything, Chandu's romantic voice may draw comparison with Udit
Narayan but his classical edge makes him versatile enough to tackle
Sudhwinder Singh songs.

Let me also remind you about the comments he made about Chandu only
appealing to the South. I cannot decide if HR meant that chandu's voice
was not good enough to have mass appeal or if the rest of India was too
stupid to appreciate his talent and training.

Nice values to pass on to his student Vinit!

Also thanks for bringing up Shankarabharanam -- great movie and great
music!

What HR's silly comment proves is that he knows nothing about music.

Of course, we could already surmise that from the fact that he thinks he can

HR's immaturity is seen very openly...if he had the guts, he should have compared Hema with Sukwinder like Subahsh Ghai himself did....

HR is only a digital music composer...thats about it...if you browse through other threads in this forum, you will know how many tunes he has lifted blatantly and branded his name on them...shame....

HR, you don't have originality and you have the audacity to bring the names of eminent singers names into a musical competition in the name of comparison...shame on you...
