PART 1

Arjun and aarohi have been married have been married over a year now..they lived in Bombay most of the time..but still went to shimla sometimes coz of Arjun's business..but aarohi never could stay there for long coz it brought back all the memories of her childhood, her father..though it also had memories of Their first love meetings, but it also held the pain of their first separation..

From last two three visits Arjun had been all alone to shimla..Aarohi was not able accompany him coz of her busy schedules and concerts..

Arjun was in flight back to Bombay from his trip to shimla..Aarohi was not there with him..she had a recording with KS for their new album and so it was impossible for her to accompany him..Arjun remembered the first time after their marriage that the proposal of Aarohi going back to her carrer..

It was six months ago..

There was a party at home that day to celebrate the day their wedding had taken place six months ago..both of them were happy with each other..Aarohi had taken the duties of a wife and a daughter-in-law..Arjun had taken the PNM media to the heights it was once at..but he still used to be back on time home every night for his dinner with Aarohi and aarohi used to wait for him till they he was back however late he might be..after two months of marriage after being forced continually she had started working again.. not as a singer but as Arjuns associate. Even when Arjun had told her why as associate when rightfully she was the owner of the company..

Aarohi had said: Arjun isi post ne mujhe bahut kuch diya hai..she looks at him..pyaar,mera ghar aur meri zindagi ke sabse keemti cheez,tum..

Arjun:haan par..

Aarohi was in a saree wit a mangalsutra in her neck:nahi Arjun agar main kaam karungi toh ek employee ki tarah..warna nahi..

Arjun had given up and she had taken up the job in the office..she always addressed him as sir..though Arjun wanted her to call him by his name..

Aarohi:nahi Arjun,humari Personal life humari Professional life mein nahi aani chahiye..in dono ko milana ka sabak mujhe mil chukka hai..and she lowers her eyes..remebering the time when she had wanted to destroy PNM coz she wanted to revenge Arjun..

Aarohi was a employee too..reach office at nine and leave by 5 so that at home she could take over the roles that life had given her newly..They were both very happy with their lives and contented..

PART 2

It was in the party that the Aarohi had taken up singing once again..

He remembered the events of the night very clearly coz that night had changed some things between them..

Aarohi had invited KS to the party as well..arjun did not mind it in the least now..he knew Karan was a changed man after the two years..they had become friends in the course of time..but Arjun could still never forget the first few meetings with him and that at one time he had wanted to hurt her..this always made him keep some distance from him..

Karan had congratulated them with a smile and brought them a gift which contained a pair of watches and aarohi's favorite violet orchids with him..when aarohi had looked at him she knew there was something wrong..there was something hidden in that smile..

Aarohi could not ask him anything at that time coz they were among a lot of guests..but aarohi, Arjun remembered, was tensed throughout the party..Karan had stayed back after the guests had left on aarohis request..

Karan had told them that his company was losses ever since aarohi had left..not only that but there were some personal problems that he was not able to tackle all by himself..he gave a look to aarohi which Arjun could not decipher but understood that Aarohi had understood it..he had said that the new singers he had tried were not able to match aarohis talent of singing and no albums he had released were working..and so he had asked aarohi to come back if not for her career for his sake, for their friendship sake..aarohi was a bit reluctant to it but Arjun had reminded her of Karans helping hand in her career in past two years..and aarohi had then agreed to it..

After that aarohi was continually very busy, though she tried her best to be at home as much as she could but there were loads of days now when Arjun had dinner alone, when aarohi was not there to help him with his coat in the mornings, to bring him the files in the office..

There was an announcement of the plane being about to land and Arjun had risen from his thoughts..he had hoped that she would be there to greet him when he reached home..

PART 3

Arjun reached home but when he asked the servant about aarohi he had told him that she had left early in the morning 'Arjun called her but she didn't pick up his call..he went to his room disappointed ..he changed and saw it was 11 and she was still not back..he went to the study to finish some work..It was about one when he heard somebody in the room..he knew it will be her..(bedroom and study are attached to each other) and when he came into the room ..it was her only..she saw him..without a word she went and hugged him..arjun was a bit confused but hugged her back..

Aarohi:I am sorry..main subah isi liye jaldi chali gayi thi par recording karte time ka pata he nahi chala..

Arjun:its ok Aarohi..i know..

Aarohi(still holding on to him):nahi Arjun..main apne kaam ke wajah se tumhe waqt nahi de paa rahein hoon..main jaanti hoon..

Arjun(strokes her head):mujhe bahut neend aa rahi hai..ab so jaayen..warna kal main office late pahunchunga..

Aarohi nods her head but still doesn't leave him

Arjun:aarohi main jaanta hoon..main samjahta hoon..kuch samay ki baat hain phir sab theek ho jaayega..

Aarohi nods her head..and leaves him..

Arjun looks at her and sees that she had been crying..

Before he could ask her anything she walks to the restroom to change..

By the time she comes back Arjun is already lying on the bad half asleep..she switches off the light..goes near him..arjun takes her in his arms and they both go off to sleep'

Next morning..both of them get up late..its Arjun who gets up first..and sees aarohi is still deep in sleep ..he tries to move his arm..but that wakes up aarohi too'aarohi sees the times it already 9..

Aarohi gets up..sits right up..

Aarohi looks at Arjun..he is smiling at her..

Arjun:uthe..

Aarohi:I am sorry..mere wajah se tum bhi late ho gaye..

Arjun:its ok..ab tayaar ho jaaye..

Aarohi shakes her head..

Arjun:kya matlab..

Aarohi:aaj mere recording nahi hain..

Arjun:par mujhe to office jana padega..

Aarohi(getting up):janti hoon..tum tayaar ho jaao..main tab tak naashta banati hoon..

She gets up ties her hair in a bun takes out the clothes for her husband..and moves to the kitchen..

Arjun looks at all this and smiling to himself

She prepares the breakfast..and goes to the the room..

She sees Arjun is almost ready..but he still hasn't worn the tie and his coat..

She waits..when he is done he stands in front of her..she first ties the tie for him and then helps him with his coat..

When she is done and she turns..arjun holds her back and gives her a kiss on her cheek and takes out a small box for her..

She asks him what it is..he does not answer her but waits for her to open ..

She opens it and finds a beautiful necklace inside it..

She is still seeing it when Arjun takes it out and clasps it on her neck..

Aarohi:yeh bahut sundar hain..

Arjun shakes his head..

Aarohi:kya matlab..

Arjun:isko pehne waale se zayaada nahin..

Aarohi blushes and walks out of the room..

Arjun comes to the table..aarohi serves him and he leaves for office..aarohi calls the servants to clean up the table..and she goes to her room..

As soon as she reaches the room she receives a call from karan..they have a small talk..

She hangs up the phone..gets ready and leaves the house telling the servants that she will be back in a few hours..

Part 4

Aarohi reaches the restaurant Chinese King..where she and karan had decided to meet..

She reaches in and sees that Karan is already waiting for her there..

She sees the time ..its already one..

She goes there and sits by him

Aarohi:usne kitne bajah aana hai.

Karan:usne kaha toh tha ki woe k bajah taka a jayegi par abhi tak nahi aaye hai..

Aarohi nods her agreement..

Karan:tumne Arjun ko..

Aarohi:nahi..maine waada kiya hai..main unhe kuch nahi batoongi..

Karan:I am sorry..

Aarohi:nods her head..

They wait in silence both of them engrossed in their own thoughts..

Its two o clock..when karan phone rings..

Karan:tum kitni der main aa rahi ho..

There is a lady on the other side

Lady:bas thodi der mein pahunch rahi hoon..

Karan:main(before he could speak anymore the line is disconnected)

Aarohi looks at him..

Karan:woh thodi der main aa rahi hai..

On the other side(At 1:30)

Arjun enters the hotel Chinese king with a group of his clients..they had decided to meet up for lunch

Arjun enters the hotel and sees aarohi sitting there with karan..

Arjun seats all of the clients and excuses himself and walks out of the restaurant

Arjun calls aarohi

Arjun:aarohi kahan ho tum..

Aarohi is shocked to hear this question..

Aarohi:kyon pooch rahe ho..

Arjun:nahi aise he..

Karan mouths to aarohi to say recording studio..

Aarohi nods her head..

Aarohi:woh karan ka phone aa gaya tha toh usne recording par bula liya that oh bas wahin par hoon..

Arjun:mmm..

Aarohi:tm kahan ho..

Arjun:Office mein..bas tumhari yaad aa gayi thi toh tumhe phone kar liya..aur bahut waqt se kaha bhi nahi tha..

Aarohi:kya..

Arjun:I love u..

Aarohi:I love u too..

Arjun and aarohi hang up..arjun is confused why aarohi lied..and aarohi is sorry that she had lied..

Karan phone rings again(at 2:15)..

It's the lady again..

Lady:main traffic mein phas gayi hoon..adhe gante mein pahunch jaaongi..

Karan:ok..

Arjun is about to leave the restaurant(its 2:45) when he dashes into a lady..he says sorry looks at the table where aarohi is sitting..and walks away..

The lady goes to karans and aarohis table and joins them..

The three of them talk for a long time..but aarohi is able to reach home by six..

Arjun reaches home as usual in time for dinner..

Arjun:tum itni jaldi ghar..

Aarohi(while helping arjun out of his coat):haan bas ek he gaane ke recording karni thi..and she smiles at him..

Arjun does not react to it and walks away from there..

Aarohi goes to the kitchen to put the dinner on table..

Arjun,saveetha,Dk all come in for dinner..

They have a qiet dinner and after clearing the kitchen by the time aarohi reaches to bed..arjun is already sleeping..

Aarohi also changes and goes off to sleep..

Part 5

It has been over a month since the incident took place but Arjun has still not forgotten it..

Aarohi also still remembers that she had lied to the one who deserved to know all about her and her life..

Aarohi had been busy as usual and Arjun knew it and had accepted it..but now aarohi had made it a point to spend one day in a week entirely at home and the evening with Arjun..

Karan and aarohi had revived their relationship once again..the bonds of friendship had been strengthened once again and now aarohi had also started sharing a bit of her life with him..

One day before the recording began aarohi went straight to karans office..karan greeted her with a smile..there were some clients in his room discussing the newest album that had been launched and had been a success instantly..but karan on seeing aarohi had dismissed them and told they will continue the meeting in a while..

Aarohi waited till all of them had left..

Karan:kya baat aarohi,tum is waqt yahaan..

Aarohi:kal Arjun ka birthday hai..

Karan:jaanta hoon,tum kal mat aana,kal recording nahi hai..and he smiles..

Aarohi:nahi,mujhe..

Karan:kya..

Aarohi:main Arjun ke liye surprise party rakhna chahati hoon,tum meri madad karoge..agar haan toh abhi chalo..party ki tayari karni hai,Arjun ke liye gift bhi lena hai..

Karan was speechless for a second..then he smiles at her..and picks up the phone..

Karan:manisha aaj ki meri saari appointments cancel kar do..main aaj busy hoon..

Aarohi is staring at him..

Karan:kya shopping ke liye nahi jaana..chalo..

Aarohi smiles at him..

Aarohi:ek min..

Karan:kya..

Aarohi doesn't answer him but takes up her phone and dials a no..

Aarohi:Arjun..

Arjun(looking at his watch its 10 in the morning,hardly an hour since he had left house):aarohi is waqt,sab theek toh hai na..

Aarohi:haan baba sab theek hai..main bas abhi studio pahunchi he thi..karan ne mujhe bataya ki aaj bahut lambi chalege recording..aur main phone bhi nahi utha paoongi to socha tumhe bata doon..

Arjun:theek hai..kitne baje tak aaogi ghar..

Aarohi:12 toh baj he jaayenge..

Arjun:apna khayal rakhna..bye.

Aarohi:bye..

Karan is staring at her..

Karan:yeh kya tha..

Aarohi:agar Arjun ghar pahunch gaya toh hum party ki tayri kaise karte..ab woh late aayenge..

Karan and aarohi both smile at each other and leave for shopping immediately..

They go to a mall and first they buy gift for Arjun..

After about two hours of searching through the mall, aarohi brought a suit, wallet and a ring for him'

Karan had aarohi had gone separately to search for the gift..they met at a common point ..

Now aarohi and karan started shopping for the party,starting from cakes,the things aarohi needed to make his favorite dishes at home, decorative material,flowers..they were loaded with bags ,but both of them were enjoying it thoroughly,talking and laughing..it was late in the afternoon when they had finished their shopping(4:30,5 o 'clock)

On the other hand

Arjun had always made it a point to gift something to aarohi on his birthday(it was his second birthday after marriage)so he had gone shopping to aarohis favourite mall during the lunch hour as rest of the day he was busy..

Arjun had gone to buy flowers for her,when he had seen karan and aarohi there..they were loaded with bags and aarohi looked happy..she was moving about the shop choosing flowers from one basket and another..(the mall was where each floor contained one kind of things,like one floor for flowers,one for clothing,one for jewellery,etc)

Arjun was hurt..aarohi had lied to him again..she had told him that she was busy with recording when she was actually busy shopping and enjoying herself..

Arjun bought the flowers that he had come to buy and then went back to the office..

Aarohi and karan reached home and then she had rushed to the kitchen to take over the job of cooking and handed over the job of decoration and inviting the guests to karan..

Karan first collected all the servants together and allotted the jobs and they all began while karan started making calls to all..salil purvi,abhay sur ,antara, bua and Mr.and Mrs.mittal..aarohi had wanted that there should be only the family members there..

While this work was going on here the kitchen had taken up a new form there were varities of dished being prepared from palak paneer,dal makhani to gajar ka halwa..etc..

When saveetha returned from her school(saveetha had a school where she taught children music) and DK from office both of the also took part in the preparations eagerly ..it was about 11 when everything was done..all of the hurried to there rooms to change..

Aarohi draped herself in a blue saree(blue is arjuns favourite colour) and the necklace he had brought her last time he had gone to shimla..

They all gathered in the hall..hididng behind the tables, and switching off the lights and waiting for arjuns return..

It was well past twelve when Arjun returned from his office..

He was shocked to see the lights off, the door open and nobody around the house..he entered the house and switched on the lights of the hall..

As soon as he did that there was burst of the balloon and the whole room was showered with sparkles and with aarohi leading the way all of his near and dear ones singing happy Birthday to him..he looked at them and his face broke into a smile..aarohi reached him first and put on the ring on his finger and hugged him..asking him in his ear "kaisa laga surprise"..Arjun smiled at her..And then rest of the people greeted him..

After that the cake was brought in..arjun cut it and the first piece was given to him by his mother and father'

And when aarohi reached near him aarohi said "tumhe accha laga na"..Arjun didn't have to answer the qs his eyes said it all..

Before any other event could take place he ran out of the room to get the flowers he had got for her..

He returned in a few minutes with everybody else comfortably seated in the hall..

Aarohi was busy serving all but she kept one eye at the door looking for Arjun..

When Arjun came in she was standing next to poorvi talking to her..seeing the violet orchids in his hand..her face broke into a smile..

She walked towards him and he handed her the flowers ..

She asked him'"tumhe yaad tha.."

He nodded to her smiled and walked away'

The party was in full swing with everybody talking and chatting..Aarohi was enjoying herself ..it was after a long time that her family had got together '

It was already around 2'but nobody seemed to mind the time..

Karan was also happy ..he was in midst of people he loved without reason or cause..and who loved him back without conditions that his wife had put him through'he shakes his head as if trying to forget something..

His phone rings..his face becomes dark..aarohi is standing away from him but he notices him..

He picks up the phone has a small talk and then cuts the call..

Aarohi notices it and comes towards him..

Aarohi:karan kiska phone tha..

Karan:usi ka..

Aarohi:is waqt..

Karan nods his head..

Aarohi:is waqt kya chahti hai woh..

Karan:mujse milna har baar ki tarah..mujhe abhi nikal padana padega..

Aarohi:main bhi saath chaloongi..

Karan:par party..

Aarohi:koi farak nahi pad raha..and she glances around the room..she sees everybody is busy..

Aarohi:hum jaldi se waapas aa jayenge is se pehle ki kisi ko pata chale..

Karan:aur Arjun..

Aarohi:nahi..main unhe kuch nahi bata sakti..

Karan nods his head..and they both walk out of the house..

She sees that Arjun is in deep conversation with salil..

Aarohi(to herself):sorry Arjun..

And they both leave the house..

Part 6

It was four in the morning when Karan and aarohi returned from their visit to the person who had called Karan'

Karan came into the house with aarohi..

Aarohi was tired but looked like she had been hurt..

On a closer look ..yes she was hurt..she had her hand bandaged and was limping on her right leg..

Karan had come in while he was supporting her..

They saw that everybody had left and the hall was in darkness..they did not bother to switch on the lights'

When they had reached the hall

Aarohi:karan tum ab jaao main theek hoon..

Karan:aarohi main tumhe..

Aarohi:nahin main..

Before she could complete the sentence the lights of the room were switched on..

And aarohi and karan saw Arjun standing there..

Arjun:toh aap aa gayee'not looking at her bandaged hand..

Aarohi:woh..

Arjun:kya mujhe yeh batana chahengi ki aap itni der tak kahan thi..

Karan:Arjun..

Arjun:main apni patni se baat kar raha hoon..aap beech mein na he bole toh accha hai..

Karan keeps quite..

Arjun:toh yes Mrs.Aarohi Punj..aap muje yeh batana chhengi ki aap party chod kar ek gayer insann ke saath kahan gaye thi..aur woh bhi bina kisi ko bataye..

Aarohi:woh kuch zaroori kaam tha..

Arjun:aisa kaun sa zaroori kaam tha ki aapne kisi ko batana bhi zaroori nahi samjha..

Karan:woh meri ..

Arjun:maine pehli bhi aap se kaha ke aap pati patni ke beech nahi bolenge..

Aarohi:karan..

Karan:mujhe bataane do..main apni wajah se tum dono ke rishte mein'

Aarohi:nahi..jo baat nahi ho sakti woh nahi hogi..jab waqt aayega tab bata doongi..

Karan:par..

Aarohi:karan tum jaao..

Karan:par..

Aarohi:pls..

Karan does not leave from there but goes out of the house and is walking in the garden..

Arjun:toh aap mujhe batayengi..

Aarohi shakes her head..

Arjun:tumhari zindagi mein tumhe abhi ek faisla lena hoga..

Aarohi:Arjun..

Arjun raises his hand..

Arjun:meri baat abhi khatam nahi hui hai..

Aarohi knows that she will have to listen to him..any interference will make him more angry..

Arjun:aap muje ya toh abhi ke abhi saari baat batayengi ya aapka samaan kamre mein hai aap use le kar jaa sakti hain..

Aarohi:Arjun main nahi bata sakti..maine waada kiya hai..aur dosti ka waada main nahi tod sakti..

Arjun:aapko apni dosti payaari hai..par humara rishta nahi..

Aarohi:Arjun,tum mujhe galat samajh rahe ho..

Arjun:nahi shayad pehli baar theek samajh raha hoon..apki zindagi mein mere kya ehmeeyat hai yeh mujhe pata lag gaya hai..

Aarohi:Arjun mere liye tumse zayaada kuch mayene nahi rakhta..par is waqt tumhe kuch nahi bata sakti hoon..

Arjun:aarohi..tumhe mujh se zayaada sab kuch mehtavpoorna hai..haina..us din tum hotel mein thi..tumne mujhe kaha ki tum recording mein ho..mere simla se waapas ane par bhi tum ghar nahi aa saki time par..maine tumhe apni zindagi ke har faisla lena ka haq diya..aur tumne mujhe he apni zindagi mein koi jagah nahi di..aaj tumhare liye woh Karan he sab kuch hai..

Aarohi:Arjun pls..

Arjun:kyon sachaye kadvi lag rahi hai..(and he holds her hand forcefully)

Aarohi twitches in pain..but arjun takes no heed to it..

Arjun:aaj us Karan ke jagah mere se upar ho gaye hai tumhari zindagi mein..to tum jao aur usi ke saath raho..

Aarohi:Arjun..

Arjun:phikar mat karo main tumhe Divorce papers bhi bhej doonga..phir tum dono shaadi kar ke aaram se apni zindagi basar kar sakte ho..

Aarohi is in tears..she is lost for words..

Aarohi:(joining her hands)..pls bas karo Arjun..bhagwaan ke liye bas karo..tum chahate ho na main yahaan se chali jaaoon..main isi waqt chali jaoonge..par us rab ke vaaste humare rishte par aise daag mat lagao..

Arjun:haan haan tum to yehi chaahti ho na..

But aarohi has already started walking towards her room..

In a few minutes aarohi appears with a suitcase in her hand looks at Arjun with tearful eyes and leaves the house..

When she comes out karan who was still standing in the garden sees her..

Karan comes to her and tries to talk..but he sees that she is carrying a suitcase and is crying..

Karan:aarohi..main abhi Arjun ko jaa kar sab kuch bata..

Aarohi:pls yahaan se chalo..

Karan:aarohi..

Aarohi:pls..

Aarohi and karan drive away..

Inside Arjun is still standing in the place where they had fought..

After a few minutes he too walks back to his room..

Part 7

It had been since months since aarohi had left the house..

Arjun had never tried to consider what he had done..for him he was right and never had aarohi tried to explain for she could not..

Dk and saveetha had tried to reason things out with Arjun ..they had asked him to go and get aarohi back..but Arjun paid no heed to them..

Arjun had changed..for better or for worse..time knows'

Arjun was never at home anymore..he always kept himself in the office busy in the work..

In short he had become work alcoholic and even taken to drtinking heavily but only when he was alone..

Even if he was at home he never went to the room he and aarohi had shared after their marriage..

He had made the servants shift his things to another room and all aarohi's things were still as she had left them..

On the other hand aarohi had also changed..

Aarohi was not the happy aarohi anymore..

She was living in Karan's house but it made no difference where she stayed..

Aarohi had lost her senses..

(six months back)
Us raat ko ghar aane ke baad..aarohi ek kamre mein chali jaati hain..aur karan bhi use wahaan jaa kar disturb nahi karta..

Agli subah jan woh naukron se pochta hai ki aarohi kahan hai..woh batate hain ke abhi bhi usi kamre mein hain..

Karan tab bhi uske kamre mein nahi jaata..

Jab raat ko waapas aata hai aur naukr use bat ate hain ki aarohi subah se kamre se bahaar nahi aayi hai..aur nahi usne kuch khaya piya hai..

Is baat par karan gets tensed..aur woh aarohi ke kamre ki taraf jaata hai..

Darwaaza khatkatane par koi jawaab nahi aata..karan uska naam bhi pukarta hai par phir bhi darwaaza nahi khulta..aakhir mein woh darwaaza tod diya jaata hai..

Karan jab andar jaata hai..toh dekhta hai ki kamre mein koi bati bhi nahi jal rahi hai..

Woh switch dhoond kar switch on karta hai aur aarohi ko dekhta hai..

Aarohi wahaan baithe hai khidki par..kahaan dekh rahi hai'pata nahi'.

Usni wahi saree pehni hui hai..

Karan: aarohi..

She does not even look up..

Karan shakes her..but still she does not respond..

Instead she faints..

Karan holds her and makes her lie on the bed..and a doctor is sent for immediately..

The doctor checks her and tells that she is under shock and she has to be made to respond or she might even die..

But nothing had made her respond..

Karan had tried everything from scolding her, taking her to office, leaving her alone, talking to her but aarohi was still the same..

Just breathing with no sense of anything about her..

The doctor had come every day and still gave the same verdict..no medicine had any effect on her..

(Back to present)

Today when the doctor had checked her she said:inhe kisi bhi tarah has aye,rulaye kuch bhi karein warna..

Karan: warna kya..

Doctor: inki maut ka toh pata nahi,par humein inhe paagal khaane zaroor le jaana padega..

And the doctor walks away from there..

Karan: main kya karoon..us raat jaane kya baat hui Arjun aur aarohi..

He leaves the sentence mid way..

Thinks for a moment and the answer comes to him in a glorious moment

Karan:Arjun..haan arjun..agar mujhe use sab kuch bataana padega toh wahi sahi..

And he immediately leaves from the home towards Arjun's office..

At the reception he asks for Arjun ..the receptionist tells him that Arjun is in office and without a second word Karan walks into the his cabin..

Arjun is bit shocked to see him there for he walks in without a knock too..

Arjun:tum yahaan..

Karan: haan'mere saath chalo..

Arjun:par kahan..

Karan:koi sawaal mat pooch..bas chalo..mere liye nahi..Aarohi ke liye..

Arjun:aarohi..kyon dikhana chahati ho ki woh tumhare saath kitni khush hai..

Karan is a bit taken aback..

Karan:haan..yeh he samajh lo..chalo..

Arjun is a bit irritated by this but hearing this he goes with Karan..

Karan drives Arjun straight to his house..

On entering he asks the servants..:aarohi kahan hai..

Servant:jahaan woh hamesha hoti hain..

Karan nods his head and walks up directly into her room..

When Arjun and Karan reach into her room..aarohi is sitting in a chair in a green suit near the window with a lady sitting next to him who is trying to make her eat something..

(the lady is a maid appointed by karan as a maid to aarohi who stays with aarohi all time..)

When Karan enters the room he tells the lady to leave the room..

The lady nods her head and leaves immediately..

Karan:dekh lo woh kitni khush hai..

Arjun is still staring at her..she looked lifeless..her eyes had dark circles..her hair which usually was loose about her was in a tangle and tied in a plait..

Karan without waiting for a answer from Arjun goes up to aarohi and takes the seat on which the lady had been previously sitting..

Karan:aarohi..aaj pata hai humne ek naye singer appoint ke hai..woh accha gaati hai..par tum jaisa nahi..

And he keeps talking to her about office,about household and anything that comes to his mind..but aarohi kept staring out of the window..

At last Arjun gathers courage and walks towards aarohi..

He goes near her and sees her..

Arjun: aarohi..

Aarohi turns her head towards him..her first voluntary movement in six months..

She looks at him and then turns back to the window

Arjun:aarohi..main hoon..

Karan:Arjun koi fayaada nahi hai..woh kuch nahi bolegi..pichle 6 maheene se main use aise he dekh raha hoon..

Arjun:matlab..

Karan: bahar chal kar baat karte hain..

Karan and Arjun walk out of the room'

Karan sends the lady in..

Arjun:yeh aarohi..

Karan:yeh us raat se aise he hai..

Arjun:par'

Karan:tum sacchaye jana chahte the na Arjun..suno..aarohi ne tumhe isliye nahi bataya kyunki maine us se waada liya tha..mujhe nahi pata tha ki mera ek waada aarohi ki yeh halat kar dega..

And Arjun is still staring at him..

Karan offers him a chair and they both sit down..

Karan(continues):Arjun..yeh baat meri wife se taaluk rakhti hai..isiliye main nahi chahta tha ki yeh baat kisi ko pata lage..

Arjun:kya..

Karan:main jab aarohi se pehli baar mila tha us party mein maine usi din use bata diya tha..woh waapis aa gayi hai..aur mujse mera sab kuch cheen lena chahti hai..yehi nahi woh mere aur aarohi ke rishte ko bi badnaam karna chahti hai agar maine uski baatein nahi maani..aur isiliye hum us din restaurant mein bhi mile the..meri biwi se milne ke liye..aarohi use samjhana chahti thi..aur us se milna chahti thi..par us par aarohi ki baton ka koi asar nahi hua..aarohi ne use bahut samjhaya ki woh apni yeh zidd chod de..main use apni daulat ka adha hissa bhi dene ko tayaar hoon..par woh meri zindagi mein waapis aana chahti hai..

Arjun:par main wahi tha..sirf tum dono the..

Karan:haan..kyunki usne hmein na jaane kitni ghante intezar karvayaa tha..jab tum shimla se aaye the..us din bhi hum chahte the ki aarohi ghar jaldi chali jaaye par anjali..

Arjun: anjali..

Karan:meri biwi ka naam hai..anjali ne aa kar beech mein recording rokh di..

Arjun:aur mall mein..

Karan:Arjun..us din toh aarohi tumhare surprise party ke liye shopping karna chahti thi..aur kuch nahin..mujhe nahi pata tumne humein kahan dekha'.

Arjun:aur party ke beech mein..

Karan:anjali ka phone aaya tha..woh ek baar phir mujse milna chahti thi..aur aarohi bhi saath chal padi..anjali us din revolver apne saath laayi thi..aur mujhe maarna chahti thi..taki us ke baad mere saari daulat uski ho jaaye..par shayad woh nahi jaanti ki meri will ke mutabik..agar mujhe kuch bhi ho jaaye toh saari daulat aarohi ki ho jaayegi..aur jab usne mujh par waar krana chaha toh aarohi ne use roka jise use chot lag gayi thi aur main isliye use ghar ke andar chodne aaya tha..(Arjun rememebers her bandaged hand)

Arjun then sees a picture of a lady on the table..

He remembers something..

Arjun(pointing to that picture):yeh..

Karan turns around and tells him its Anjali's..

Arjun then remembers that she was the lady with whom he had clashed at the restaurant..

Arjun:uski tasveer yahann..

Karan:haan..woh ab jail mein hai..

Arjun:matlab..

Karan:us raat ke hamle ke baad maine uske khilaf police complaint kar di thi..baaki use door karan ka mera paas aur koi raasta bhi nahi tha..

Arjun is shocked by the revelation..

Arjun:main aarohi..

Karan nods his head'but before he leaves'

Karan:Arjun..aarohi ko kisi bhi tarah rulao..warna doctors kehte hain..use paagal khane..

Arjun:tum sab mujh par chod do..

Arjun goes into the room and sends the lady out..

Arjun goes to aarohi and sits next to her..

Arjun:aarohi..main galat tha..muje maaf kar do..main jaanta hoon maine jo kaha us raat woh maafi ke laayak toh nahi hoon..par agar..and he tells her about his jealousy he had felt when he saw her with karan..his possessiveness..his life past six months..

Aarohi has tears in her eyes..she utters a feeble :ARJUN..

Arjun:aarohi..

Aarohi turns to him..

Arjun gets up from the chair and holds aarohi is his arms..

Aarohi cries for al long time like that..asking for forgiveness..

Arjun:aarohi galat main tha..tum nahi..tumne toh apne har rishte ko poori imaandari se nibhaya hai..

Aarohi is still crying..

Arjun: mujhe maaf kar ke kya tum mujhse doobara mohabbat kar sakti ho..

And aarohi nods her head..and they both come out of aarohis exile hand in hand..
