Well we finally got to see the episode in which Laali's family makes an entry here in Canada. Though I had seen it online as well, but seeing it on tv is a totally different experience. When Laali reached her village I was sooo happy, like my face had all smiles, just seeing that😆. And seeing Nanku, Majri, and the kids back on tv again, my mom was pleased as well.

And seeing the entire old atmosphere back, I thought the show, and the story was much more gripping before in it's intial days. Especially when they showed Laali remembering her past moments in the house, I really felt that each of those epiosdes was very special.

There was this one very poor family, who had this lovely daughter called Lalli, loving parents. And everyday they would struggle for their daily meal, but somehow managed to live on to the next day, with moments of happiness and sadness. Nanku's dhol, Munna's sweet talk. It was all soo good, and that point this show was different from all. It was soo touching.

Plus the storyline was just awesome, with two friends Sanichari and Laali getting separated, Laali's parents being pressureized to sell Laali. All that sadness was good actually😆, since u could really feel sad for Laali.

But where are we now?? A weak Laali, who's in all sorts of problems?
A love story? Ranvijay who is after Laali for like what past 3 months? An unrealistic waaris track!!

I really hope that the creatives show us the "daughter" aspect of Laali once again. They should get over this whole waaris track soon. Loha's been saying waaris, waaris waaris, forever now!

gur they just can't go back to the 'daughter' aspect of the show.. the story has to move on.. and well it is.. sometimes it tends to go on a weird track but its moving on!!! let it move on.. she left her parents house.. they sold her.. she went back for some answers.. and when she got 'em.. she decided to move on.. and her parents have moved on also.. 😕

her life has changed too much.. the story has gone so far out.. that she can't just go back to her village and re-live those memories again.. it'll never be the same.. 😕 😕 the waaris will come.. then she will fight for that baby.. that's what this story is about..

yes the show was much more gripping then.. it was new.. we didn't know what was gonna happen.. sooooooooo much has happened till then.. and some days are much better than the other.. and it'll once again be interesting.. it still is.. if ranvijay'd just quit it and go back home.. 😕 😕 and then when the baby comes about.. it'd be real interesting.. seeing laali fight for her baby..

but to get there.. the story has to move on.. let it move on.. laali and her childhood is done with!

initial story was interesting, but now is not so bad either...i knw it is repetitive, but i like the development of the love between shekhar and laali...I like how they actually fell in love with one another, and got to knw one another...it was, dare I say, realistic, lol...in terms that they didn't just look at one antoher and fall in love...the spent time with one another, they talked, they worked together...and slowly they fell in love...it was nice to watch...and I'm looking forward to the future, with laali and shekhar having a baby...and the two of them fighting society norms to stay together and raise their child together...
actually, i think the coming episodes will be more interesting...I have a feeling, that soon, thakurain and laali will have some trouble...because it is thakurian who is always telling laali that she has to leave after she has the baby...and i knw she likes laali, but I personally don't like it when she constantly reminds her that she has to leave...even loha hasn't said it to her...all he says is he wants the waaris...
anyway, if shekhar ever hears this, he will be angry at his mother...and that may cause a rift between the two...

who knws? there are many possibilities, esp with ganesiya still looming around and jamuni and ranvijay...plus I'm always hoping that sanichari comes back some how...

so I agree that the past was nice...but there is still plenty to look forward to...

Very well said. I am with you on this matter. I loved everything to do with Nanku and company. I am just not into the show anymore.. I am forcing myself to keep watching. I am just keeping my fingers crossed for things to change for the better.

I blame the creatives a lot for cutting Laali's family totally out. They are very important and are Laali's support system. I am sure a worried father could have made his way to the Haveli couldn't he?

I feel the production house and Zee are manipulating the viewership they are already getting and only want to use twists when the TRPs drop. How about we try to increase them? 😔 This is where I feel Ekta has been succesful with PR. She knows when how to take advtange of the plot to keep the viewership maintained and to progress further.

Ohh well.. we will see what happens. Recent happenings in Nepal won't help either.

some of you have agreed and some haven't.
But all i'm saying is that, before there was a lot of emotional touch to the show. And that entire storyline of girls getting sold due to poverty. The show presented this problem to the socity, and people were eager to know about it and the show got really popular and critical claim for highlighting a social issue.

But I think they have somewhere lost that "social issue" tag along the way. It's not that I want to see social issues everyday, but they should bring in a large concept to the show. Other than this waaris track which I find really pathetic.

Like maybe Loha Singh's family tries to buy another gir and Laali saves her. You know, something to combat the issue of selling girls. Have people like Bali punished.

Gur you just wanna reach the ending of the show.. without having a story in the middle NO person wants to turn their TV on.. and watch a show with a "social message" that'll make you cry your eyes out... that's why i couldn't sit thru agle janam during its initial days.. it was far too emotional.. 😕 with the thakur's coming into the storyline.. that changed a bit.. and the storyline progressed.. and the track that's playing right now IS a social issue.. i see it as one.. using a girl to have the waaris of your family then treating her like garbage seems like a major issue to meeee..

so creatives are still on that track.. they've just made it more cleaner.. wit the love story and all.. that's where shali come in and trust me that's where some (if not all) audience comes in.. no one can watch rona dhona everyday.. we understand reality.. but the time of day when we're done stressing with our own hectic lives... we turn our tv's on.. we want entertainment.. not 'reality'.. why do you think most of the TV shows that become hit are 'luv stories'..

and im sure agle janam started involving more audience.. when laali entered the haweli.. and the whole shekhar/ganesiya mishap was happening.. then shekhar treating laali like a human.. got more audience intersted.. then their falling in love.. kept the audience there.. and right now its still them (plus the rest of the gang for their evilness)... that we're still here...

patience is a virtue! laali and shekhar will get married (as they have to nepal one day or another).. then baby will come along.. and then it'll be a great thing to see.. when laali'll fight for her baby.. but for that.. the show needs to move at a good pace..

other shows don't do this..where the story develops.. the questions that audience has are normally answered (many, if not all) agle janam is such a show.. let it be!

everyone has got reasons all depends on your like and dislike i always like it but the story must move on otherwise we will be the first who will ask to close it.but the best the creatives try their level best to show all of the characters, does not forget them completely.

Hi Guys, pls. update the stories regularly as I won't be watching it for next 10 days or more. Going for my honeymoon, like Shekhar and Laali with my old hubby. 😳
