Well theres seriously no doubt about it. Mayank is the most matured person in the gang. No doubt about Gunjan but Mayank can still carry on along with emotions unlike Gunjan. The way today he was shown, it looks like he is yet to solve one more problem. As Gunjan asked for forgiveness to Suhani that she cudnt get her bhai to her. But lks like Mayank will do it.
The promo also says that Mayank wants Sam to understand the situation. And therefore stops Gunjan to attend him bcos he wont listen to those who he is angry with. Maybe he will ask Dia/Uday/Benji(a doubt).
Plus, if we notice the promo at the very end, after Gunjan said that how cud she do such a big mistake, Mayank enters and GuNur lks at him. I think the scene has something to say:

"Mayank At Rescue!"

Affy, that's the one thing I didn't like in the precap to be honest !! SaJan has only one thing going for them always, their trust, understanding and bond. We had to wait a year for their confession, because their friendship and bond was so stroing, it took even the CVs a long time to make their transition from friends to lovers, and now at this point for them to have someone else talk to Sam is to insult and make a mockery of their bond and understanding. I know Sam is hurt and he is angry and most likely to lash out, as we saw in the precap, but for me SaJan only exsist because of their 100% trust and understanding, so I really feel that Gunjan should be the one to go to him, because even though Sam considers Mayank and Nupur to be his family too, his family in every sense of the word is Gunjan and and when he is hurt, he always opens up to her. She needs to go there and let him vent out all his anger at her, because if she doesnt, this move might make him accept Suhaani before he would forgive Gunjan.

naveen agree to you. sajan's relationship exists on the two big words - understanding and trust. but right now the same two words are at stake. sam thinks tht gunjan betrayed her.

And only Gunjan, can make him listen and understand !! If she can't that CV;s themselves have made Sajan a joke !!

hopefully naveen , thts the only thing i want. if gunjan goes to him and he understands her, its the peak of their relation and the biggest sajan surprise.

not seen the epi as well as the promo ... and dont hav the strength as well after a reallllyyyyyyyyy LONG day of mine !!!

but neways..if this kinda thing ever happens ... SG is sure dead for me..because I echo naveen...SG hav their understanding, their bond , their trust.. and that IS their love for each other ... so if that is not shown, it'll almost b like the whole last yr didnt exist for me ... the times they spent as strangers, judging each other..then as friends knowing each other..and then as best friends, trusting each other...and eventually falling in love - all these stages jus wont exist..it'll almost b like two random ppl who hav started to go out jus 2 months ago .. all those wonderful dialogues that are their strength ... all those moments will b wasted .. AND jus thinking abt it makes me 😭

I hope the promo is misleading, YET AGAIN !!! *fingers crossed*

Umm I agree with Naveen on this, Gunjan needs to talk or the CVs r deviating from their original characters as usual!! That wud be sad.

I remember when MN were fighting(on the adhiraj issue), Samrat was the one who told Mayank the truth, which seemed odd to me because, couples fight when in love, but it doesnt require another person to tell them the truth and sort things out. they can do that with each other.

Now, this ...Am sure Mayank would speak to Samrat and I think thats completely not required. Gunjan and Samrat are in a relationship and they should sort it out themselves and am pretty sure Samrat would NOT completely disregard Gunjan.She is the only one who can get him to see sense like she always has!!...

Oh well, but then there are the Cvs...
