Hello friends...
I am very disheartened today I called Sony 15 times. Yes, 15 times cuz either they would drop my call or there would be no one in the office. First I was told to call back in a few hours...which I did. Then the lady at reception kept transferring my call, before I even finished talking. She was very ill mannered and it upset me quite a bit. But each time she would transfer my call, no one would be sitting at the desk. But instead of telling me this, she would just cut my call off! I'm sure you all will agree that this is rude behaviour...that too from a big channel like Sony tv.
So I when she finally decided to take my call, I politely told her, "aap ek minute meri baat sun lijiye. Aap baar baar mere call ko transfer karti hain ya phir kaat deti hain, jo ke ghulat baat hai. Please PR department mein meri kisi se baat karaye."
Finally my call was transferred to a man (Sholar lady was not in office) I told him abt petition and India-forums. Trust me he was so negative abt it he kept on saying that the production house have already packed up and shooting is done. That's the end of the show... but I told him that Sholar told me that we at India-forums can send the petition. To this he replied that we should get a response from someone once the petition is seen. However, chances are not very good. In fact, chances are hardly there đ
What annoyed me was that he kept on repeating that the show is ending. And I said to him, "ji, mujhe pata hai. Isliye toh itna afsos hai...! Aisa hona nahin chahiye." But he was not very optimistic, as expected. I told him to confirm the DJs team telephone number and it did match the number that I have. But no one from their department is attending calls. It only rings. Such a shame. He told me, we don't have mobile numbers or private numbers. We only have one number for the team. So that ruled out any chances of getting Aamir Ali's contact details đľ
Guys, let's see if the petition gets a response. But all that I can say is that Sony is a ridiculous channel. All of us have put in a lot of hard work and I hope it pays off. I swear, even I have tried to chip in. I've been calling them since 4.30 am UK time. But I guess whatever is to be, shall happen. It is now beyond our control. Agar kismet ne hamara saat diya, toh BB ko hum bacha lenge. Now all that we can do is wait and watch.
I am very disheartened and feel very sad today. These next few days will make me very nervous and I'm worried about having to face the bitter truth đ I think you all can understand what I am trying to hint at but won't say it in simple words cuz it's too hard to say but let me lighten the mood slightly:
When I spoke to the man, initially he thought I was a writer. He misunderstood what I said and thought I said the word script. He said to me, "acha, toh aapne script beja hai humko. Script hai toh theek hai, dekh lenge." 𤣠I was like, "PETITON hai. ek hazaar se ziyada signatures hai kyunki fans nahin chahte ke yeh show off air jaaye."
Then he said, "Oh, acha. Lekin yeh show to bandh ho raha hai." I just thought to myself....Oh God, this is going to be one loooooong conversation. Longer than my posts
