hey m not really her fan but i love the airtel add,lol.
she's the size zero thingy in ind,so her brand will obviously sell.
lucks matters,destiny matters.
her fan base would def have inc post JWM n kurbaan...but i know many were her fans,and nw rent because of the past.so,it was my personal POV.

But I'd say that her fan base isn't constant. She's a known face but necessarily the most popular actress.

I guess people have somehow affection and attention as far as hse's concerned because she's always in the gossips and the fact she's a part of Kjo an dSRK's camps do help her a lot.

She just RECENTLY got back in those camps yaar. After JWM when suddenly she was successful, all these big production houses opened up their doors for her. Pre JWM, she was making do with Priyandarshan, Abbas Mustan, and Suneel Darshan movies.

And that's precisely why she did some bad movies. Because she was greedy for those big productions that hse didnt get for years, she signed some really bad movies.

Well she's learned her lesson.

Oh she's defo not ht emost popular, because she has quite a few haters as well. But then she has fans to match em, lol.

Bebo's never been one of htose universally loved celebs. But then there was a saying that always went well with her. Love her or hate her, you just cant ignore her. 😆

there is also one thing tht bebo was already overhyped when she decided to enter the industry, there was so much of publicity around when karishma was ruling but rules of kareena entering bollywood seemed like wild fire, so people had already much expectations from her, i dont think any star kid was so hyped before entering bollywood as kareena

Oh kareena was a born star in taht sense. Karisma helped her loads, and to this day she admits that she got such an easy break because of being her sister. All the industry folks knew kareena coz she used ot hang out on the sets so often. I mean even saif met her for the first time when seh was 19 years old and he was shooting with karisma, lol! (though he claims he SAW her for the first time when she was 14, but that's another story altogether) 😆

I don't know if she's losing fans or not, but I know there's a majority of people who are completely turned off by her. And no, not just because of her off-screen persona, but also on-screen. The people I know, and there's quite many of them, associate her movies with "skin show and overacting". Because that's what she does in majority. And then once in a blue moon comes a JWM or Omkara.

And Kurbaan reiterated the skinshow bit. Sure her role was powerful yada yada, but what was on the posters and in the trailers? Her skin show. Sure it wasn't her fault since she didnt manage the promotions. But point being, that's what keeps her in the news for most part. Tashan bikini crap, size zero, KI bikini stuffs....this is what's mostly hyped about her. And that has turned a lot of people off.

She is only a good actress in few of her movies whereas the rest are crap. Even her acting is bakwaas in many of her movies so her just being a good actress in one or two movies DOES NOT make her the best actress. Just like how katrina cannot act to save her life yet she is also another top "actress" of today's cinema😆 Just goes on to show how much acting talent you need to succeed in bollywood😆

Kareena is what kareena is...

Everything about her makes news...
Her talent is untouchable...
Even in lousiest of the film, she will light up the screen...
No matter how much people hates her, her popularity and prices soars!
She is one of the few actresses of this generation who sure knows how to act!
Bring on the heat babes!

PS: Ash and Bebo are on the same boat....Love them, or Hate them, but you can't Ignore them! Two power ladies of the bollywood!

Her list of good performances include

Refugee, Asoka, MKKH,

then came a long phase of overacting

But then Chameli, Yuva, Dev, Aitraaz, Kyonki (she was really good in this as well), Omkara, JWM, and recently all her performances have been great post JWM.

Even in horrible movies, her performances are praised, be it KI, MAMK, Golmaal Returns.

And recently, a great Kurbaan!
