Shahid Kapur needs extra bodyguards to keep girls away!

Everything comes with a price and Bollywood is no different! With two blockbusters 'Jab We Met' and 'Kaminey' under his belt, dimpled actor Shahid Kapur is the current flavour of Bollywood.

The cute looking actor whose next-door-boy looks can make girls go weak in knees is having a hard time in tackling his female fans as a result, Shahid wants extra bodyguards for all his shoots.

Recently, while Shahid was shooting with Anushka Sharma for Parmeet Sethi's untitled flick under YRF banner in Bangkok, a bunch of Indian girls left the shy actor red faced by demanding him to remove his shirt!

Talking to a news daily, a source said, "Shahid has a huge female fan following and is constantly mobbed at various places.

At times it becomes too risky for him. Not wanting to cause any further problems, the actor has now asked for extra security."

Usually, Shahid also has fans waiting outside his vanity van and they refuse to move till he meets them.

This at times hampers the shoot schedule, disturbing not only Shahid but also the film unit. Now, Shahid wants a group of 5-6 bodyguards to be with him on the sets and also whenever he is shooting at an outdoor location where there is a greater risk of fans barging in on the sets," continued the source.

However, when contacted YRF, the media conglomerate downplayed the demand for extra security and said, "We haven't got extra guards for the shoot. YRF does have adequate security for all its shoots at all times. Should an artiste ask for additional security, it will most certainly be provided. However, no additional security has been asked for during this shooting schedule."

Dont think this article is that true though. He gets mobbed in India badly, and probably in places like US and UK, cuz a lot of desi people live there. But Bangkok? I doubt it. He goes shopping in Bangkok all the time and comes back safe without bodyguards.😆 I think a few girls prob show up on set, but like the YRF spokesperson said, they have their own security so it cant be that bad.

umm.. exaggeration at best... I find it difficult to believe that Shahid would be hankering after extra security on one side, and going off on solitary sojourns in the Bangkok malls on the other... nehoo, nice to see the media is finally acknowledging his popularity.

I'm actually glad to see news of Shahid, LOL.

Still, I want to see more fans posting. Sometimes it happens, anger runs high and we say things that end up hurting others. Nobody should leave because it gives the other party moral victory. Never give up for what you believe in, right? 😃

Happy posting. I hope more fans do come back. They can take a break if they want, but shouldn't have left. That's not the solution to any problem.

Happy posting. I hope more fans do come back. They can take abreak if they want, but shouldn't have left. That's not the solution to any problem.

Yeah, as I said, tempers were running high. It probably drained everyone out. It did me, so I can imagine how it must have been for the ones that were directly involved.

Nobody should have left. I saw another topic where Aneesha ji said that. I was sad to read that. I do hope they come back, albeit after taking a break.

Yeah, that thread turned extremely negative, didn't it. I feel a little responsible as well, because I supported it. Thinking back on it, though, I don't think it was that wrong. Any actor can have loads of fans, and just because those fans are in large number, does not mean they should leave. Though, it can make others feel intimidated, but it's not the fault of anyone. People should learn to co-exist.

Blame games usually don't do much good for anyone, in the end. 😒

p.s. Laxlilli ji, I shall try. Though, I am a bit busy with exams but I will touch upon it on the weekend. Hopefully, it would give everyone a chance to cool down by then.

Some are on a break and some have pmed GMs to ban them. Seriously, its nobody's fault if his fans exist in large numbers on this forum. Mannu is the nicest member in BS and she was picked on for changing her views about Saif. Dont we all change our views about actors all the time though? I admit that I only come to this forum for Shahid, I post his topic and comment on them. I am not gonna start posting articles about Govinda, Harman, or whoever just because people like variety. Whereas forming groups are concerned, there are more groups on this forum other than Shahid-Deepika-PC group, but only one group was picked on. I was attacked BADLY for calling Rankat "bhai behen jodi" but I didnt leave the forum or indirectly compel the Rankat fans to leave the forum. What did we gain from the thread? The members who left havent returned, but yes members who have been here for about 2 years now are leaving.
