I think Priyanka if she becomes PB would trouble Raj and his family by asking him to marry then. Maybe, she might just state that they would marry once Raj's father is ready. Afterall they did not get engaged either on the stage when they got chance. But I know Sudeshraniji is an intelligent woman she is trying to proove that if Priyanka becomes PB and does not marry here the whole concept goes futile. This was more ment for viewers, of course a lot depends on the answer by Raj's mom. Logically she is not that wrong. But my vote still goes for Priiyanka.
