For me neither the costumes nor the sets were a big problem, nor do I think I disliked it because it wasn't like BRC's... I just found it pretentious and wierd 😕 That definitely had something to do with the cast; other than Sakshi Tanwar as Ganga, everyone was theatrical and unintentionally hilarious 😆 But the bigger problem was the writers' choice of deviations - when qualified mytho makers come up with them, they have a purpose... they either add to your understanding of the characters, convey a message that is applicable in daily life, or present a new perspective and make you think... not in KHMK though! What could possibly be accomplished by making Kans sexy and clever, while turning Radha's parents into abusive monsters? I'm all for a fresh outlook if there's a reason for it, but none of the "new information" presented on this show seemed to be driven by anything other than 'shrooms.
